I had a salad with poor quality strawberries and minuscule amounts of goat cheese with a blah dressing. Calamari was ok but no sauce or accompaniments. The steak salad for my guest was a piece of meat on a soggy piece of bread. Very disappointing meal.
On Mother's Day we visited Saltlik and fell in love with the food and the quality of service, but that quickly changed after our most recent dinning experience. We went in on a Friday night and got the same thing we had order before. We ordered popcorn shrimp, dry ribs, and some people in my party ordered French onion soup. Almost raw then torched? Invited a guest to what is advertised as one of the premier steakhouses. Both meals were steaks, very undercooked. After talking to the server, food was to be redone, however same steaks came back, tasted torched. Quite disappointing. Not the first time of underwhelming experience.
I ordered 'medium' for my I ordered 'medium' for my steak. The food came in a timely manner. After a few bites into the steak I then realize it was completely well done so I told the waitress. She then tells me it'll be 12 min to make me a new one. The second steak came back extremely 'rare' and again it was sent back. THird time the manager came by and delivered the steak. Aovid - Steak sent back twice Ordered a rib-eye medium-rare. 1st time the steak came out it was medium-well. Server took it back to the kitchen. The 2nd time the steak came out it was so rare it must have only hit the grill for under a minute. Now it would not have been so bad, only that it tasted terrible.
