The whole process was excellent until I received the bass. I understand that some stores ship their instruments with the strings loose in order to protect the neck from damage. That's not a problem, but after I tightened the strings and tuned the bass, the first 5 frets of each string had horrible string rattling. This gave me the opportunity to learn how to adjust the saddles to eliminate rattle and fret buzz. Thank you.Â
