The aquarium is a complete, COMPLETE waste of time. You can see the same fish and turtles at a pets land for free. Everything is super expensive, and you can see the entire place in 10 minutes. I highly recommend jumping off a cliff before coming and spending time here.
this place is shit... sorry for the vulgarity but it's way too small, way too cramped, too dark; the animals were in high alert/hostile mood, were put into open displays to be pet or fed (majority of them would then hide in their corners just so that they don't need to see them. it reeks of dead fish, they keep macaws in small cages, boas in the same conditions. they offer more attractions then they do education for ocean life. it's just bullshit
We have a yearly pass to this business. Excellent interactive for all ages. Why did I not give it a 5? Because their employees are rude and uninformed of the exhibits. When we checked in today I mentioned we wanted to see the sloth...bought the 50 tokens for $129.00 as the sloth is 20 tokens each. We then waited at the exhibit for 30 minutes and asked if we needed an appt as an employee walked by and he did not know. When it was hopefully going to be our turn the keeper slammed the door as she was letting others out and I ha... read more
Let me say...the kids did enjoy the 30 minutes it took to see everything. It's basically a circus aquarium in an old warehouse. You have to buy tokens to interact with anything after you overpay to enter. Also there is a random arcade in the middle of it. It should not be called an aquarium. Fun house of fish and animals would be more appropriate. It cost too much...and no refunds. Don't let the random seated mermaid surprise you. She snuck up on us. It's definitely an "experience."
I'm so disappointed in myself. I usually consult Yelp before ever visiting some where new. My family and I were on vacation in San Antonio over memorial day weekend. One of the days was rainy so we looked for activities indoors to keep our toddler entertained. Our son was free, but it was $21.60 each for my husband and I. You pay first thing when you walk in before you've had a chance to see what the place is actually like. Once we got past the wall/ payment room it was horrendous. The property is not well-maintained. The an... read more
So dirty. Animals seem Miserable and not well cared for. Went years ago, sadly has not improved. Just a sad place I will not go back to
This is not the place for you if you want to spend hours looking at fish, but this IS the place for you if you want to pay lots of money to interact with lemurs, a sloth, fish, manta rays, iguanas, nurse sharks, and parakeets. This is definitely not your typical aquarium but still fun if you're willing to spend a little money.
This place is good for little kids like 5 and under. I though it was expensive for what was there. Less an Aquarium and more like a miniature zoo.
This was one of the worst experiences I have encountered. I felt so sorry for these poor animals. The treatment of these animals inhumane and I am sorry that I supported this business.
