absolutely do not come here, it is so janky and awful! wasted $60 on a cheap non humane place that was no fun at all! it took a whole whopping 12 mins to get through the entire thing... so boring and disgusting, floors where not cleaned, crap everywhere, it wasn't even an aquarium. it was a fish petting zoo with plastic dinosaurs and monkeys in small cages. DO. NOT. COME. HERE.

Such a fun place to visit. I went with my son on a visit to San Antonio and we had a blast. It's a bit pricey so be prepared but the amount of interactivity with the animals and the overall quality of the staff made it worth it. We had never seen baby starfish before and they also had baby rays still in their egg/pods. So much fun to be able to touch the animals. They have interactive activities where you can get in the cages with the monkeys and hang out with them. A great experience. Definitely going back

So there is good and bad about this place. The tokens were a little expensive But how often do you get to pet and have a lemur in your lap. The place was clean and the staff was very friendly. The lemurs and sting ray exhibit were the most fun for our family and 20 tokens to feed a sloth was a bit much. And my only complaint to the aquarium would be if you're going to have an area with a roaming turtle have staff watch the little ones. Some parents don't watch and the poor turtle was being smacked and chased and I just didn'... read more

I'm having a hard time writing this review, and I feel a little bad about it- aquariums are all about conservation and education, but this should be said. This is way too expensive for what you get. "Tokens" to get to experience an animal up close, which sounds cool, but in reality it's a long line to MAYBE get to see the animal up close. The aquarium itself stinks, now I'm not a naive Karen. I understand it has animals and that's what happens, but if you've ever gone to a cavern and the musky smell at the beginning of the c... read more

The aquarium is a complete, COMPLETE waste of time. You can see the same fish and turtles at a pets land for free. Everything is super expensive, and you can see the entire place in 10 minutes. I highly recommend jumping off a cliff before coming and spending time here.

this place is shit... sorry for the vulgarity but it's way too small, way too cramped, too dark; the animals were in high alert/hostile mood, were put into open displays to be pet or fed (majority of them would then hide in their corners just so that they don't need to see them. it reeks of dead fish, they keep macaws in small cages, boas in the same conditions. they offer more attractions then they do education for ocean life. it's just bullshit

We have a yearly pass to this business. Excellent interactive for all ages. Why did I not give it a 5? Because their employees are rude and uninformed of the exhibits. When we checked in today I mentioned we wanted to see the sloth...bought the 50 tokens for $129.00 as the sloth is 20 tokens each. We then waited at the exhibit for 30 minutes and asked if we needed an appt as an employee walked by and he did not know. When it was hopefully going to be our turn the keeper slammed the door as she was letting others out and I ha... read more

Let me say...the kids did enjoy the 30 minutes it took to see everything. It's basically a circus aquarium in an old warehouse. You have to buy tokens to interact with anything after you overpay to enter. Also there is a random arcade in the middle of it. It should not be called an aquarium. Fun house of fish and animals would be more appropriate. It cost too much...and no refunds. Don't let the random seated mermaid surprise you. She snuck up on us. It's definitely an "experience."

I'm so disappointed in myself. I usually consult Yelp before ever visiting some where new. My family and I were on vacation in San Antonio over memorial day weekend. One of the days was rainy so we looked for activities indoors to keep our toddler entertained. Our son was free, but it was $21.60 each for my husband and I. You pay first thing when you walk in before you've had a chance to see what the place is actually like. Once we got past the wall/ payment room it was horrendous. The property is not well-maintained. The an... read more
