I really hate to but that's how bad it was. they should have never made the appt for what we needed. then they forgot to give us the new patient paperwork and while we waited let 3 patients who walked in after us back to see the doctor. finally i asked and was told we need to fill out the paperwork that they never gave us with no apology. finally went back to see the doctor who immediately informed us they dont handle that ailment. i innocently wanted to bring to her attention what her staff had done and she got super d... read more

I wish I could give them no stars. I was their patient for over 5 years. But all things must end. First I had to insist a mole was removed from my head and even then was told it was not necessary. But finally it was removed. Yep, you guessed it, it came back as severely abnormal which is right before Melanoma. So they scheduled me immediately to return so they could make sure they got all of it. This was only a week or so since the mole was removed. Than you for your comments. We are contracted with Humana as well as many other insurance companies. Our fees are contracted rates and cannot be changed. Your co-pay varies depending on your level of Humana insurance. ClearlyDerm is very aware of other dermatologists "over treating" patients and generating higher fees and reimbursements. Offering a $75 discount off of your co-pay generally does not happen in our profession. I wish I had the read the reviews before scheduling an appointment. This place is run by unprofessional morons who can't schedule a simple appointment correctly. They were the ones who messed up my appointment and THEY DO NOT CARE. I am not the only one with problems when it comes to scheduling an appointment. If I could give 0 starts I would. I am never one to speak up and stand up for myself but I was treated so poorly by this staff that I do not want anyone else to experience what I went through. I have been going to this dermatology center for 1 year and every time I schedule an appointment I there is some miscommunication error. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I saw Dr. Colton total of 5 times. I went in for a skin lip issue Ive had for a while and she prescribed elidel. I used the cream as prescribed and while I was under treatment I had 1 sip of champagne and my face became hot and bright red. It went away after a couple of hours but when I brought it to her attention she said she had never heard of that reaction yet as soon as you google it it is a reaction to that medication and its very common. Not one to usually give negative reviews to businesses after being there once, but it's safe to say I probably won't be back here ever again. I came to this office for a persistent skin infection, that has become generally worse and worse; and the doctors recommendation was " If it gets worse, go to the ER" which, is the WHOLE reason I'm there! I waited 50 minutes in a nightgown for the doctor to give me a 5 minute examination and for her to ignore my past acne experiences.. then provided me with medicine that I know will not work considering I am currently already on the same exact medicine. Not going back & do not recommend. It was a waste of my time and a waste of my co-pay.
This review is for the staff at the doctors office. I called several times to make an appointment, it was impossible! I left a message during business hours on their answering system. I am still waiting for someone to call back. If its this difficult to get someone to call back to make an appointment....FORGET IT! I will take my business elsewhere. There are plenty of good dermatologist in Boca!
Not good. The office is very clean and pretty, but the PA I went to was not my favorite. I have a cyst that she just kept squeezing to prove a point, first off...OUCH. Secondly, both her and the medical assistant walked in and out of the exam room without knocking, so I basically flashed anyone that walked by. Also, I was given a script for an antibiotic, not only did the M.A. enter the name incorrectly, but the P.A. didn't even notice and handed me the script!
