I had a nostril piercing done and developed an irritation bump, which I went to the 55th st location to remove and my insurance covered it... Now I grew some strange cyst-like bump on my cheek and came here to get it off only to be told they'd have to charge me a cosmetic fee of $325 because it's not a medically necessary procedure. BS. Until he poked it, he didn't even know what it was. But it makes perfect sense because they make most of their money on tattoo removal and selling useless skin care products. Went to another ... read more

The billing department and customer service are horrible; the doctors are mediocre. My insurance denied my claim because they spelled my name wrong. I had to defend my employment status with the receptionist-- she suggested Verizon stopped covering me because they had a strike. Clearly something you should tell a patient. I looked past that, whatever. I had what I thought was an allergic reaction to my medicine but determined it was something else. Spoke to a nurse, told her my symptoms and what I was taking. I go in for ... read more

This place is a mess. The receptionists acted like I was interrupting them by walking in. I saw Dr Kleinerman for an annual check up and all seemed to go well. She recommended a few prescriptions and said they would be sent directly to the pharmacy. It never happened. I called the number on their website to remind them to send my prescriptions. It was told that the request was sent. It never was. THIS HAPPENED 5 TIMES! I finally got fed up and walked my butt to the actual office. Again, very unfriendly receptionist. I told h... read more

This place is a disaster. It's a waste of time and money. They burned my face, enhancing my skin spots more. The doctor asked me to give it 1 month, and another month, and when he realized he did not know what to do... they kept on taking pictures. I am sure many people have taken them to court. The stuff is rude and unprofessional. I wasted $1K and I have to visit now a true professional doctor to help me fix the damage schweiger dermatology did. Please save yourself for good doctors. This place is more like a mess... read more

Please don't waste time and money coming to this place. They have no idea what they are doing. The assistants are rude. I went there for sun spots; however, the "doctor" was more worried about me taking accutane so I could avoid eventual mild acne. After a long explanation about my concern around the sun spots, he told me he would minimize them or even vanish them all with laser. I asked him to just use la laser in one spot to see my skin reaction; but they insisted that burning them all 4 was better and more cost effecti... read more

Consultation in mid-March about a scar and deformity above my left eyebrow. It's June 1st and still have not heard back on possible solutions/recommendations. Maybe I can get a refund? Maybe they're just too busy with the cosmetic improvement stuff to address an injury-related, and appearance-altering issue. It does seems to be the focus when you're in the waiting room. And when the doctor came in to see me, he seemed rather peeved (annoyed/confused) that I was there for something other than a quick botox injection. That's ... read more

Aside from a long wait time, the doctor seemed little unorganized and jotted down my medical history on a random wrinkled paper during my visit. The place seemed very focused on generating money from cosmetic procedures but not the worse experience just yet. But it became terrible the next day when the receptionist called me to "collect payment" (thats the word she used) for procedures I did not receive. When I explained that I did not receive the procedure, she told me its simple error that happens often because the docto... read more

Have seen several doctors at various locations for skin cancer checks. They recommend mole removal every time, far more than seems necessary. Seems like an insurance scam to me. What's worse, I am fully covered by insurance, but they said I needed to pay them money for procedures which, when I called my insurance, I did not owe. Then, when I contested the charge, Schweiger charged my card on file without my approval. I would avoid this practice at all costs; there are plenty of other great dermatologists in this city.

Have been to this location twice to receive injections for an autoimmune condition. Would only recommend them because of their booking convenience and not for any particularly great patient care. (Seems many people have complained about Grace's bedside manner -- I agree.) Additionally, it seems like they're doing some sketchy billing practices. This last time I went, I was initially given a bill for $225 when they thought I was a self-paying client. When I said I had insurance (Cigna), they took back the invoice and said th... read more
