Dr. Hammerman May have the worse manners I have ever experienced. I have been at this location to see Dr. Grossfield who is a pleasure to see and is always respectful and patient. Now back to Dr. Hammerman. I schedule my appt at 12 noon and arrived at 11:55am as it says on the door do not enter until 5 minute to your appointment. Absolutely, at all costs, DO NOT use this practice. After a year of waiting, I finally received insurance and went in to have a dicey mole removed. The PA told me that it looked weird (indeed!) and that she would "biopsy" it. Before she said anything further, it was removed. The removal spot, within days, became infected. I called and received an antibiotic cream, which didn't matter anyway, because the mole was basal cell carcinoma and I had to have more skin removed. While Schweiger did a good job at clearing up my acne, I had a bad experience with a cosmetic procedure. I went in for a microneedling treatment to clear up some scarring, at the recommendation of my doctor - after going through the entire process of having my face numbed and sitting and waiting for it to kick in (30-45 mins) I was told that the microneedling tool wasn't working and that they would not be able to perform the procedure. 1) I have no idea why the tool wasn't tested BEFORE my entire face was numbed and 2) why... read more

Administrative and billing department have gone way down. Be careful here ...they charge you for services your insurance "doesn't cover" even when your insurance does cover everything. When you call the billing department they say it was their accounting errors and refund your money only for the same thing happen again your next visit!!! Reception is rude and not helpful. Double check all expenses they bill you for and don't pay if they say "you owe money from your last visit that your insurance didn't cover..." it's total B... read more

I used to see Dr. Jamal at a smaller practice and followed her to Schweiger because I really liked seeing her. Unfortunately, the level of care I receive at Schweiger is horrible. It's impossible to get in touch with someone via phone - it seems like the calls are processed through a call center, and nobody ever answers or returns messages. This was the worst dermatology office I have ever come in contact with. Above all, they were unprofessional, rude, and incompetent. They misdiagnosed me and now I'm dealing with the affects of not treating my skin correctly. Although they have locations around the city, I urge you to find a different dermatologist. With so many patients they don't give anyone specialized attention and therefore end up making countless mistakes. If you want a good experience do not go here.

This practice is awful. I went in originally for a condition that was quite serious in my opinion. They didn't seem to care much when I went in and felt rushed all the times I went in after that as this was something that took a few treatments. I just kept with them because they knew my condition and it was the first place I went. Whatever. Then last night I had an appointment for 7:10 pm. I don't recommend this office for billing reasons (as others have mentioned). I was given a price for my appointment from the front desk woman after giving her my insurance information and then was charged 4x more. The response from the manager and billing staff was, "We never would have said that," as if I was lying. They were rude, took no ownership of their mistake and incompetent staff, and basically told me I was making things up. When trying to support your own goes wrong. The worst thing you can do to me is disrespect me by disrespecting time. When I'm on time for my appointment and people show up late for theirs goes before me is very disrespectful. Waited almost a hour before leaving. Keep the co-pay. I can get my money back. The time I can't. I'm never paying a co-pay before seeing a doctor again. Do not waste your time here.
