Nice clean office in the flatiron with friendly staff. I had a long term issue with my skin and have seen over 5 different dermatologist over a period of 12 years, all of whom prescribed me more of the same type of ointments for the same type of diagnosis. Was great that I was able to get an appointment on short notice. However it felt very rushed and not nearly thorough enough. This was for my annual skin exam and felt like the doctor rushed through it and could have easily overlooked areas. I've been to much more thorough dermatologists who took more time to do the exam, which I felt more confident in. I would like to complement Halida at the front desk. She is always very sweet, welcoming, patient, and helpful. It makes a big difference when you go to a doctor's office and are greeted by happy, pleasant people at the front desk versus those who are not. Dr. Weinstein is hands down the best dermatologist I've ever had. She's absolutely exceptional and always provides thorough and genuine insight. Halida at the front desk always welcomes with a kind greeting and offers excellent customer service. She always happily and promptly resolves any billing or scheduling issues that may arise. Kelly also is absolutely wonderful and exhibits exceptional customer service at all times. She is a gem and is always thorough, efficient, kind, and incredibly helpful.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the care and treatment I've received from Schweiger Dermatology. It's difficult to be seen at many other dermatologists, but I have always been able to make an appointment within a short amount of time. The location and facility itself is great and I am never kept waiting once checked in. What truly sets the office apart is the staff. I had frexel done by Dr. Hammerman. He was very professional and made sure I would recover fully. I have sensitive skin and am prone to redness. I had several red light treatments and my condition had improved progressively. I am happy with the results so far and can't wait a full recovery.

Dr. Ashley Strongwater is truly a wonderful doctor who took the time to listen to my concerns and issues, as opposed to most doctors who rush you out with a prescription without answering questions. I had an emergency situation having developed scalp psoriasis (something I'd never had before) and was in incredible pain, not to mention I was literally losing and pulling out my hair. Dr. Ashley Strongwater was genuine, gentle and extremely caring. She made me feel very comfortable with what I originally thought was going to be a very uncomfortable experience. Her assistant Kelly was wonderful as well.

I think that this office's strength is that you can actually get an appointment in a reasonable time frame. I don't know why, but in NYC, it's incredibly difficult to find a decent dermatologist who you don't have to book appointments months in advance for. That said, I've had wildly different experiences here, depending on the doctor. The first one I had was lovely, but left. I was passed along to a second doctor, who was awful.
