I cannot say enough great things about my experience, and more importantly, my results after visiting Schweiger Dermatology. I have been feeling awful about my very visible hyperpigmentation that seemed to worsen considerably since the winter. I think this place is hit or miss depending on who you see. My first two times I saw Grace, the PA, who many on Yelp have also complained about. She didn't really seem to actually examine my ski , was more interested in selling products, and has no bedside manner- definitely avoid her. Honestly I'm not sure why they keep her employed if she's such a turn off to patients. Kind of a hit or miss depending on which physician you meet with. I have had great experiences with Diana, Laura, and Marianne in the past - all were super thorough in evaluating my acne & eczema-prone skin & took the time to listen to what was going on/causing my skin troubles - and the appointments were always quick and efficient. I know that Schweiger Dermatology is know more for helping those suffering from bad acne but they also do other derma logical procedures. I have suffered from severe eczema every winter for the last 9 years and this is the first time I went to Schweiger Dermatology for help. I have been using the Clear Clinic in the Flatiron district since January and I have nothing but good things to say about it. I've struggled with acne since I was a teenager. I went to see several dermatologist in my area who very rarely took time to listen to me. They seemed to want to get the next patient in the chair as quickly as possible. This morning I met with Dr. Hoai-Nam Nguyen for a follow up appointment. She is the only dermatologist I have met with who was actually able to help clear my skin. (I've been struggling with acne ever since I started using birth control pills, which did a ton of damage to my skin... so annoying, right?!). I was referred to Dr. Kleinerman by my dermatologist because Schweiger had testing capability while Mohs surgery was in progress. My overall experience was exceptional. I was actually taken prior to my appointment time which is very rare. I found Dr. Kleinerman,, her assistant and all staff to be very professional and caring. I saw Dr. Hammerman and he was really amazing. He was always available to talk via phone or email and calmed me down when I was feeling nervous. He is a talented doc with a great bedside manner and I could not recommend him more highly. I also saw a PA named Christina and she was excellent as well and super nice.

From the moment I walked into this office I felt taken care of. Even when I was upset over the results of my visit, Jesse Ayala and his team were unbelievably sympathetic and also straightforward in giving me all the information I needed. I feel really lucky to have him as my dermatologist and would recommend that anyone facing any sort of skin condition go straight to him.
