The doctor I made an appt with was not there on the day I showed up. There was no communication. I was seen by a nurse for my conditions and I have now received 4 separate bills on top of my initial copay. They do not have good medical professionals and they will severely overcharge you.
Made an appointment here to discuss acne scaring and I was very clear what my appointment was for upon scheduling. After waiting in the reception for over 45mins after my appointment time and filling out no less than 10pages of documents for the office, I was told my appointment was considered cosmetic and would be fully out of pocket. Schweiger Dermatology is a terrible group of doctors - impossible to reach if you have an issue. They are irresponsible and unprofessional, not calling with results that you have something contagious, putting people at risk. I would never recommend them. I still have not received a promised phone call from any doctors there. My own doctor (Dr. Jamal) never called with the results, despite many, many calls from me to follow up - I never received any return phone calls. STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! My interactions with Schweiger around billing have been one of the worst customer experiences I've ever had. Incompetent billing and a clear sense they don't care at all about their customers/patients. I've had to literally show up at this location to try and get bills resolved. Particular call-out for Luisa Guzman, who isn't very responsive. Reporting them to Better Business Bureau. For some reason this place is getting worse. I don't know how you get worse than 1 star but that's where we are. They have this new chia pet receptionist that has a chronic attitude and the second time I was on her azz. I walked in and tried to check in and she told me to have a seat just to take another person who walked up shortly after me. Came in for an appt receptionist was rude and once I got their and the appt was already booked and confirmed they told me that I needed a referral from the doctor. Which there would be no way for me to get that over the phone without missing the appt. There is a representative that call you the day before the appt. the absolute worst for basic dermatology. perhaps their focus is for cosmetic services but they are useless for basic dermatology. i have been waiting patiently for weeks for them for a simple test result. They have promised multiple times to return a call or send the report. It's been weeks and I am still waiting...
Can where to have a cyst in the ear removed. Still recovering but the doctor Gloria Lin only spoke about the scars I'll have and did nothing to assure me they would try to minimize scarring. 1 week later I come to get stitches removed and the person that did it left a few in. I had to come back to the office and they told me to come earlier than 4pm if I can. Then the new person at the desk tells me my appointment is at 4:20."
