Okay, reading the reviews on here is so wild. I have had the best experience with California Institute! Dr. Ashley Dominique is the GOAT. The first day i came i explained my situation (a bunch of acne, post hormonal skin issues, acne scars, dark spots, aging) - you name it i had it! We started with a round of accutane and it completely cleared my acne. She also prescribed a couple ointments to help with dark spots and aging. The professional attitude of the doctor that I saw (Dr. Vu Ngyuen) was absolutely horrible and childish. I was seeing him for a long term condition I had already seen different doctors for over the course of a couple years. I had already been down a few different diagnosis paths and failed. So when he suggested a diagnosis that had already been ruled out by other doctors, I simply questioned his judgement and told him the results of that same therapy from my past treatment. Dr. Feldstein is so thorough and kind. She was so gentle and patient with my Mom who is 92 and hard of hearing. We never wait long and the receptionists are very friendly and attentive. My Mom said she's been the best dermatologist she's been to yet. We like that she tries to find things that are easy to do and help her condition. She even gives free samples and coupons for products she recommends.

I am 70 years old. Called the office and asked if they accepted Medicare, they said they did, so I made an appointment for basic consult as I have some sun skin damage. After the consult and removal of a "tag" which I did not ask to be removed, I made a future appointment for a skin peel. Once I returned home I realized I may have made a mistake as I have Medicare Advantage so I immediately called the office and told them what happened and to cancel the future appt and any testing of the "tag". I had IPL treatment yesterday(Friday) by their new Physicians Assistant Kellye. My face is completely swollen with second degree burns, I look like a monster. I left three messages today with their after hours answering service and never got a call back. I went to my PCP doctor's office this morning and could only see a Nurse Practitioner on Saturdays. She prescribed a burn ointment to make sure I don't get an infection. There are two spots that are third degree burns(black). Do not ever have Kellye do anything to your face.... read more

Excellent Dermatologist. He is knowledgeable, thorough and a takes an interest in his patients. I have gone to him for years and he never disappoints. Highly recommended.
