Today I had an appointment (new patient) that I had scheduled out for a month in advance. I arrived at the Vista office on 3/22 and noticed a sign on the door saying they would be closed today and to call the Carlsbad location. I did and couldn't get an answer. Two days prior to the appointment they sent a confirmation text to which I replied. Can't believe this is how they do business. 1st time patient with Dr. Nguyen and this location. I was extremely happy with Dr. Nguyen and his staff. They were professional and helpful. When I met Dr. Nguyen, he was attentive and seemed to genuinely care about my situation and the questions that I had. I have had 3-4 different dermatology doctors due to relocation. He was by far the most detailed out of all of them.

I am going to preface my below review stating I have worked in the dermatology field for over 15 years so I am extremely familiar with Accutane. I originally took my son in for acne to see Dr. Leong (She was amazing) to discuss putting him on Accutane which we decided would be the best option as he had tried numerous other treatments. Remarkable staff! I walk in the door and they greet me and treat me like I am a Queen! Dr Nguyen has an amazing way of making me feel so comfortable even with my embarrassing skin issues....AND he has done so much to heal my skin! I love this derm practice, they never fail to make me feel like the most important patient they've ever had! Sooo grateful!

Not sure what's going on here at this location. I tried stopping in for over a week at different times of the day to pick up a simple topical spray. I work close by and the door was locked on three different occasions. Finally on Thursday I stopped in and to my surprise the door was unlocked and I was greeted by two women who were equally surprised, I believe because they left the door unlocked. I am disgusted with the quality of professionalism of Dr. Nguyen. I went into his office with a lump on my central lower neck area. He first thought it was a wart, which in itself confused me because how in the world would I get a wart on my neck. After he sliced the top off and had it biopsied he called to tell me it was squamous Cell Carcinoma and that he thinks he got it all but I should make an appt in the next month to check on it. So I called for an appointment to have a spot on my chest checked by Dr Nguyen. The receptionist told me the appointment would cost $100 :-/ I thought that sounds like a lot of money to check a spot but figured I am sure they will check my skin everywhere....wrong...the doctor came in with a light on his forehead looked at the spot and said "I don't think that is cancer, is there anything else? He was in the room for no longer then 2 min at the most! Now they have sent me a bill for another $7 What s joke!!!!

First time I went to Dr Nguyen. Amazing doctor. Helped me greatly. I have no,insurance and they ate going to accept payments. Yes. Amazing. I am so grateful. Thank u again. My skin cancer will be taken care if.

Dr. Henninger is very nice. She is very caring and gentle. I always feel comfortable with her treatment. I highly recommend her for anyone who is looking for a new dermatologist!!
