One of our windows was cracked. I called Scientific and was told I would be contacted. A short while later, Victor called me to set up an appointment. We found a time when our schedules would work and he came out. On the first visit, he measured, asked for a 50% deposit, and told me he would call when the glass arrived. I called to schedule an estimate, and Jon returned my call the same day. He came a couple of days later and measured the windows. We talked about what I wanted (maintain the look of the house, increase energy efficiency, etc.) and he understood immediately. He also made some very good suggestions about what to do with one problem room. This is the second or third time we have used their service. We called on them again because we were happy about their quality of work when they installed our windows. They were very pleasant people to deal with. The people who came to our home were very knowledgeable and professional in every way. We plan on using them again in the future. We had some storm window installed at our home last year.

The salesman was very honest and professional, and he even told me what to look for in estimates from other companies. I had a good feeling about him and after I got some other estimates, I spoke to him about them and what they offered. He compared the estimates a bit in his honest opinion, and what stood out about Scientific was the positive comments on installation and their warranty is iron clad. From start to finish (sales to installation) this process was great. The installers were a couple of minutes early. I hardly knew they were in my home. They cleaned up after themselves. The end product is really durable and quite attractive. We were very pleased with Scientific's professionalism and work ethic. We had all of our windows replaced-17 in all. We made the appointment. Very positive experience from beginning to end. Was the middle price of three estimates, worked with me to get closer to the lowest (I went with Scientific because their window frames featured more chambering, a small difference but enough to distinguish their custom windows). All windows were custom built locally, delivered by the crew right in the middle of the 4- to 6-week estimated time frame, and installed in a day and a half (we had estimated two full days). Excellent experience!!! Let me start by saying that I went through a nightmare with another window company, which never completed the job (after having paid in full) and left me with poorly installed low-quality windows. It took almost 2 years trying to straighten the mess out, until I finally got money back with the help of the city. We were happy with the estimate this employee gave, but we felt that we wanted to hold off on getting the window replaced. The house is really old, and there were some other offers that we were considering. The owner himself was the one who came over and followed up on it last week as well. He wrote us a note apologizing that we had chosen to go elsewhere and recommended some companies to us. They provided an estimate for a window replacement that we needed and we decided to use someone else.
