I like the sales/service of this company. That's why I called them again this year. I purchased two windows for a bedroom last year. This year, Jon has very helpful in guiding me to a casement window for our kitchen. I knew I didn't want a regular double hung window because of the location and size of the window, but hadn't considered a casement. Jon came to our house to talk to me about my options. The sales call was very professional and non-pressuring. They took measurements and explained the windows in detail and explained what features added value and were worth the investment. I have replaced most of the windows in my house myself, so I priced out replacing the picture window myself, but because of the size I also wanted to price out professional installation. The estimation process was great. Jon was very informative and answered all of our questions. He took a lot of time to talk through our options and explain the process with an emphasis on best practices for Lead Safe renovation. Although Jon worked to find the best solutions with a variety of window manufacturers for what we were looking for, in the end we went with another vendor due to the overall price and being able to use one window manufacturer for all of the 18 windows. Jonathan, the owner, was very professional when he came to my house to give me an estimate. The installer was very neat, and the windows are good quality. There were some small problems with the windows when they were first installed, like screens that didn't stay in the "up" position and locks that popped out when they weren't supposed to. The company's repair person had to come out to my house two or three times to remedy these problems, but since they've been fixed, the windows have been great. I was contacted by Jonathan Koloms, who supervised the project. He also calculated the potential tax credit I hope to receive for this project. The windows have been in place for about 6 months now and are completely satisfactory. His workers were neat and professional. Scientific Home Services replaced 12 windows - 6 in upstairs windows and 6 in basement windows. All of the work was performed in a timely and competent manner.

We were very pleased with the company. All the windows were replaced in one day and they look great. There were no problems with the installation, and so far the windows seem to work fine. The company was easy to deal with, and we really appreciated the no-pressure estimate. There were no surprises, and the cost was much lower than the other estimates that we received. Replacement vinyl windows for the entire house (approximately 20).

I dealt with Jon Koloms, who was the most knowledgable person I have ever dealt with. What a wonderful person! Hos crew showed up on time and did a spectacular job. I would highly recommend them. I had all my windows replaced .

Jon was prompt on the phone and in scheduling the appointment. He was also on time for the appointment. He spent quite awhile taking measurements and explaining what he expected to do and how they would do it. I did mention that he was bidding against two other companies, so I don't know if that put him off, but I never received a quote from them or even a follow-up phone call.
