Truck was in for service for nearly 3 months (the full time I've owned the vehicle) while problem was diagnosed, parts ordered, and service finally done. Shop has only one diesel mechanic. As well Carfax was useless in pre-purchase identification of major engine defect. Required top end engine rebuild.
This appointment was for ZAKTEK exterior coating reapplication. After the appointment, there was a deposit of tarlike substance on the rear passenger door handle, which I managed to get out, and a light scratch on the rear bumper, which I did not.
