On March 6, 2025 at approximately 7am, I took my 2013 Ford CMax to Serramonte Ford Service in for a required recall repair issued by Ford Motor Company. I have a great mechanic and only took my vehicle here because of the recall. I told them the issue and also asked him to look at a door issue I was having as well as a tailight issue. I signed documents thinking it was routine but was never told there would be a fee without work. My Ford's "check engine" light came on recently, and I took it in to Serramonte Ford. The mechanic said that it was an emissions problem, that I had a leak at the fuel pump assembly near the right side of the fuel tank, and that it would cost $3,200 to repair. I said "No, thank you," and he answered with annoyance that it would take him until the next day to put my car back together. Absolutely some of the worst customer service from 2 vary main stream and larger Ford established facilities, both minutes apart from each other in terms of unresponsivenes, poor customer communication, anda severe lack of attention to customer service traffic and worst yet is this issue of ignoring potential customers as we constantly request for help must be an epidemic and very much a problem as not 1 but 2 dealerships treated me similarly! Bottom line- this is not a professionally run dealership/ service department. The service managers are dishonest and not proactive about helping you get back on the road. We own a F550 dump truck that we rely on for our landscaping business. Since we purchased it in 2020 - it has had several issues and factory recalls. It was previously recalled and the repairs took 5 weeks to complete (at San Jose dealership). It recently started having transmission problems. My main complaint about this business is that they do not communicate with their customers. I needed to talk with a service representative or the service manager about some "missing" items from my truck after service. They acted like my 4 year old. No one called, on one was available, it was not their problem etc...they didn't respond to my complaints on their survey either. Nothing. Just very frustrating and unprofessional. Jared is the worst service advisor. He charged me $270 for an oil change when I was informed by ford that my warranty isn't expired. He was extremely rude and dismissive. I will never be taking my car back to serramonte ford. I believe I was treated this way because I'm a woman. I filed a complaint with the company and informed them of the situation. They had my car for 8 days and didn't bother to call me for 5 days. Do not take your car here. When call the number that they left on these reviews, it goes to a phone tree

Zero stars for customer service. Service department uses profanity and clearly hates their jobs. No common sense. Please hire more qualified employees who actually want to help. Will not refer my business here. Beyond disappointed and will stick with Toyota and Mercedes Benz. Please provide your customers with the bare minimum amount of courtesy for their time and pretend that you care.

Do not recommend. I recently purchased a used vehicle from them and the experience has been nothing but a pain in the you know what. From the get-go they posted a car for sale that wasn't even ready to be sold. First wasted trip across the bridge. Despite that snag still decided to buy the car because it was a nice, clean car. Should be 0. After charging me for service that I didn't authorize, and blatantly lying to me about what had and had not been done to my car ( was told that both my car had not been disassembled to exam it, but also that i could not pick up my car right away because it needed to be reassembled) . I've had no response from their management about any of my multiple calls and complaints, and then after all of this they have their call center calling me daily to remind me to come in to service my vehicle which is bordering on ha... read more
