It took approximately 3 hours and 1 minute for this service department to wash a car and check to see what was wrong with the trunk. This was directly after the vehicle was just purchased a 2020 Ford Edge with only 11 miles on it the previous evening... I'm sure the lack of communication played a role in the problem. We dealt with Pamela, Danielle and one mysterious person that never came out to say anything to us the service guy Rich.. if we ever even slightly excited about this new vehicle, the service today destroyed it..... read more

Yet again ford Serramonte disappoints. If they aren't screwing you over in sales they're screwing you over in service: I pay extra for extended warranty and my display stopped working, I go in and they want to keep my truck for 5 days? And not loan me a car because it's still "drivable"??? In what world is a car that you're taking from me, still drivable? I walked into the parts department yesterday and explained to several of the five or six parts reps that I thought I might need a new right turn indicator light bulb because it was making a faster clicking sound. One of them responded "sounds like a lightbulb to me. I'm about to go to lunch." Two others just sat there and looked blankly at me so I said, "Wow, how many Serramonte Ford repair people does it take to change a lightbulb?" I had a horrible experience getting my C-Max serviced here. I had several different issues to troubleshoot and resolve, which took some time and was expensive. That by itself didn't lead me to give Serramont one star. But the very poor communication through the 8 days they had my car was extremely frustrating. Mauricio, the customer service person who owned my case should NOT be in a customer facing role! Whoever hired him into that role (Germaine? Did you make that decision?) made a huge mistake. Called Ford today and they told me a week to have a water pump replaced! That is ridiculous. This is not the first time I had a repair done there that should of taken a couple of hours instead of days, let alone a week. Will never go there again!

I can't believe this place only has 2 reviews (as of 1/7/20) This place is horrible. I have a 2015 F350, still under warranty. It had an issue with the front end four wheel drive, so I brought it in, thinking it would be warranty work. Of course it wasn't. I asked why and got a laundry list of excuses followed by "I wish I could warranty the work". They had my truck for over a month (like I didn't need it). Remember my truck is only 4 years old. $7,000 later I get back, on a Friday. I drive it home and something isn't right.... read more

I have written reviews before presenting my problems with their service department. I dropped off my car in the evening three days ago. My service advisor called and woke me up at 7am the next day to get my permission to work on my car. Now two days later I have no information about my cAr.
