It was a perfect Mother’s Day dinner for this local! The food was excellent, the service was excellent, and you know the breath taking views at Ela’s are excellent!! I got the special, Parmesan encrusted Halibut with Lobster stuffing over tomato salsa and coconut mashed potatoes. It was the best meal I have had at Ela’s or anywhere on the island!
We arrived 15 minutes early but got sat promptly. Server came and got order we got an appetizer, split a salad and two entrees. The server brought the appetizer and split salad at the same time which we sent the salads back. 15 minute wait between app and salad which was fine we were in no rush except the server forgot to refresh the silverware I noticed that other tables had the same issue. The crab cakes were mushy and the sides felt like they were reheated rice and veggies. For a $42 plate, it was terrible. The outside seating had a great view and the service is great.
Enjoyed a wonderful Mother's Day dinner. A special menu was in effect, but it was varied and inviting. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. We will return and highly recommend ELA's!
My first time going to Ela’s and I throughly enjoyed it. The food and service is wonderful and there isn’t a bad view anywhere you sit. I will be back!
We went to Ella’s on Mother’s Day Brunch. It was a very busy time due to the holiday. Our waitress was outstanding, keeping us updated as to when our meal wound come because it was so busy. The food was good considering the business of the chefs. It’s a lovely restaurant overlooking Shelter Coves yacht basin Unfortunately we were on the second floor and the noise level coming up from downstairs was high. Probably would ask for seating downstairs next time. Again it was a festive day… We enjoyed brunch there.
Great atmosphere and attentive waiter. Wife’s English muffin base for eggs Benedict was under toasted and mushy. Otherwise food was good.
We had a reservation at 2. We didn’t get seated immediately and we waited over an hour before our food came to the table.
Had the sausage hash. Eggs were undercooked. Hash was all potatoes. Hard to find sausage, peppers or unions.
