My first time going to Ela’s and I throughly enjoyed it. The food and service is wonderful and there isn’t a bad view anywhere you sit. I will be back!
We went to Ella’s on Mother’s Day Brunch. It was a very busy time due to the holiday. Our waitress was outstanding, keeping us updated as to when our meal wound come because it was so busy. The food was good considering the business of the chefs. It’s a lovely restaurant overlooking Shelter Coves yacht basin Unfortunately we were on the second floor and the noise level coming up from downstairs was high. Probably would ask for seating downstairs next time. Again it was a festive day… We enjoyed brunch there.
Great atmosphere and attentive waiter. Wife’s English muffin base for eggs Benedict was under toasted and mushy. Otherwise food was good.
Ela’s is our favorite restaurant on the island. Everything was spectacular. We’ve been going there for years
Our experience at ELA's was perfect! We were there for our anniversary and received a complimentary glass of champagne. Service was great, food was exquisite, and the location was amazing. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
The restaurant is beautiful near the bar and outside. However, although we made a reservation far in advance, we were given a table upstairs in a corner that was very uncomfortable and a bit claustrophobic. Like being placed in an attic. The server was mostly going thru the motions which was a disappointment as well. We have been to Ela’s several times and this time was a disappointment after we had recommended it to our guests.
So we have dined here many times and always had a great meal and experience. This time it did not live up to past experiences. When we booked the reservation. We noted that two of our guests had a dairy free diet. When we asked the server if she could have an item on the menu prepared slightly different. She was told no that the particular item is “pre-made” and can’t be changed. This went on with at least 3 different items on the menu. Food and service was amazing and the ambience was great. Will definitely be back!
Had the sausage hash. Eggs were undercooked. Hash was all potatoes. Hard to find sausage, peppers or unions.
