Visited this lovely place on Mother's Day with my mother and sisters. Our meals were absolutely impressive. The lump crab meat crab cakes, salmon salad, scallops.....OMG....not to mention the outstanding service. Our new favorite place to dine.
Very overrated. We had a 5:00 reservation for mothers day and they seemed annoyed we arrived at 4:50. Crab cakes were mainly breading, tile fish was good, rice was dry and roasted carrots were practically raw. Also. All the other mothers received roses, and we did not. We had brunch on Mother's Day. Food was good, chef very concerned about allergies which is always a positive. Service was uneven at best and somewhat inattentive. Coffee not refilled, things brought to the table piecemeal, service a little aloof and overall not what I anticipated from a restaurant with high prices and a quality location. There are innumerable great restaurants on and off island so I would recommend they work with their staff and make the customer feel more welcomed and attended to.
We went to Ela's for Mother's Day Brunch. They were very accommodating as we arrived an hour early but was able to get our outdoor table as requested as another party had come inside. Our waitress was a pleasant young lady who was efficient but somewhat reserved. We were very surprised that the brunch menu was so rigid so unable to get appetizers or side salad with our meals. We loved it ! Food is 5 star ! Our hostess was A+++, Highly recommend ! The view of the harbor is breathtaking ! Don't miss it if you put on Hilton Head ! Kevin
The food was very good, and the key lime pie was excellent.
Food was absolutely great. Good service. Tears and rips in the upholstered seating lessened the overall appeal to the restaurant.
Most impressive was the food. I ate the Mahi Mahi with Mango Salsa at top Cilantro Wild Rice. I chose the pear salad which included fresh greens and pecans. Delicious! i wanted to change the rice for another side because i am not crazy about cilantro. The waiter talked me into keeping the dish as described.
