I didn't have high expectations since this restaurant is in a touristy area on NYE. However, my husband's steak was the best we've had in a long time. My short ribs were very good, just a bit too salty. I also thought the key lime pie was very average. The berry fizz champagne cocktails were excellent--actually too excellent:) Service was great on a busy night. We are locals and will definitely be back.
When we arrived there was a glitch in our table arrangement but Earl made everything work out very well. We had a delightful New Years Eve celebration. The food was just delicious. We are eager to try Pearl once it opens.
Group of 12 for New Year's evening. Wonderful food, music, service and just in general, a GREAT experience.
A fabulous New Years Eve dinner! The sea bass with black Chinese rice was superb. Unbelievably, we ate outside on the water - it was perfect. Michael, our server, was just attentive enough & very knowledgeable about the menu & offerings. We will return again...and again!

we had such a nice New Year's Eve celebration starting with our wonderful dinner at Ela's. The food (grouper!!!!) was prepared and presented perfectly. The service was great! Window table looking out on the marina............hadn't been there under this ownership but definitely will go back and try happy hour or another dinner. Have recommended it to several people.
A reliable place for a fine fish dinner. We have been there many times and are never disappointed in the food or service. The views are lovely as well. The only negative was that we were seated next to a lively table of 12 or 14 people. Conversation among our party was overshadowed by their noise. However, we would not hesitate to return.
Our food was good, the presentation was nice, but the service was terrible. I think our server was trying to handle too many tables, and we were very neglected, received little advice from the server, and probably would have made different choices if some of the entrees, salads and appetizer portion sizes would have been explained better when we asked about them. We felt it was very pricey for the service we received. this was our third visit there and the other two times were very similar.
The scallops with crab risotto was outstanding.
