Our visit to ELA’s 5 years ago was so memorable. Our group from that trip has tripled this year and I knew ELAs was one of the first places our newbies have to experience on the island. Call me crazy but I’ve already booked my reservation for 2 months away. If you only have one Sunday on HH, brunch overlooking the marina at ELA’s is definitely not something to miss!! We had a table for 6 outside on the patio. The owner pointed out exactly where the full moon would be rising and it was BEAUTIFUL! The bartender is the best! Great wine suggestions from him and a nice personality! My grouper was great and the short ribs were awesome!!!
If you are in Hilton Head for a short time make sure Ela's is on your "short list". One of the most relaxing venues on the island with outstanding food.
Ela's is one of the best restaurants on the island and we have always had outstanding food and service. We took out of town guests this time and they were impressed even though it was rainy and the view was not the best. The fresh, local grouper was wonderful and their calamari has spoiled us for eating it anywhere else.
We enjoyed the quiet of the cove and the presentation of the food as well as the food.
Amazing food, great ambiance and entertainment! We were able to get the entire bar singing along!
Ela's was amazing. Situated on the second floor next to the marina you get great views of the sunset and the boats coming in. The food was to die for. The Calamari is not the traditional and their rake on it is great. The steaks were cooked properly and the sides were rich and delicious. The dessert tray was the hardest decision of the evening. Dave behind the bar is funny and a renaissance man, very knowledgeable and funny. They have live music which was also a treat.
My husband and I went here for our anniversary and had a wonderful dining experience. Being on vacation we wanted a place with a view. We found many restaurants in Hilton Head are in shopping strips or overlook a parking lot. Ela's was a wonderful view of the marina and very romantic.
