We dined here w 2 children (early, 6:00) and had great service all around. Our waitress was Amber and she was terrific. The service was excellent. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Clean. Best view was on deck, where we sat. Terrific food. Highly recommend !
Wonderful evening at Ela's. Calamari app was fantastic, large pieces and cooked perfectly. Everybody's dinners were fantastic. Too bad it was pouring rain or we would have considered dining out on the deck. Perfect ending to a great week on HHI.
The server was excellent. Very knowledgeable about the wine and the items on the menu. The food was very good. One of our party had the soft shell crab and said it was excellent.
This was our first visit to Ela's. The place is gorgeous and the views are as well. Unfortunately, that was the best part of our evening. The service was lacking in every respect; the waitress appeared to have too many tables to cover, but she did not make much effort when she did get to us. The food was good, but a bit bland. Our meals at Redfish and Santa Fe Cafe earlier in the week were better than Ela's.
I had the filet and wild mushroom resotto and husband had ribey steak and resotto, both were fantastic.
The view is lovely, overlooking the marina. On a warm day or night, it would be ideal to eat on the patio. Inside, the restaurant is cozy and welcoming. Food was very good (crab cakes!) and the server was attentive and knowledgeable. I would recommend Ela's.
We've lived here for five years and just discovered Ela's. It's got to be Hilton Head's best kept secret. We never knew this part of shelter cove existed. We only discovered it by accident from taking a walk around there one day. We love the outdoor dining on the balcony and the views are incredible of the cove. The restaurant is charming with great gourmet food and wines. Ela's is now our #1 favorite!
