We've never been to Ela's - the location is amazing right on the water, food is good, wouldn't say great but good so don't think the food will be over the top. You're getting a spectacular view. The restaurant is very nice, big bar area, very nice outdoor seating to wait. I'd go back and would recommend it so long as expectations aren't high for the food.
Unfortunately at about $100 for the two of us, it included one app, one salad, 2 entrees, 1 dessert. All was good, not great. The filet mignon ordered medium came out barely medium rare making it almost inedible and waiter did not come back in a timely fashion to correct it, so we made due and left the most rare portion on the plate. Strip steak with wild mushroom risotto was very good, again, not sure worth the price tag overall tho.
Regards to Ron from Detroit, our waiter, quick service and knows the menu and wine list. Ask for outdoor table for a great view

Started with Crab Cake and Swordfish Skewers for appetizers..excellent flavors and prepared just right. Entrees were Bone In Prime Rib and Swordfish Fillet. Each were prepared as ordered an met our expectations. Tasteful and not overcooked, would recommend as a must try to anyone. Finished with Crème Brulee and Cheesecake. Deserts not as well prepared as balance of dinner. Overall a great dining experience and a great location.
A hidden gem. Will definitely return. The food was excellent, fresh & well flavored. The service was also terrific. A great dining choice.

Loved this place. The service was very friendly and the food was great - I was warmly greeted when I entered the restaurant. Nice start to the evening. I had the grouper - it was perfectly prepared. The Wine list had enough variety to please most tastes. I would definitely dine hear again and will recommend it to anyone. I loved the atmosphere and the scenery was terrific - right on the water. The patio lights at night was a nice treat. This is the place to have a nice quiet dinner.
Had the grouper, it was probably one of the best prepared fish I've ever had. My son had the scallops and it was also done perfectly. The ambience and service was outstanding.
