Ela's is one of the finest! Fresh and Fabulous...with such beautiful presentation of each course. The Roasted Beet Napoleon Appetizer is a must...Followed by melt-in-your-mouth fresh grouper served over truffle potato puree. The wine list was extensive and reasonably priced. Romantic outdoor seating is available.....and the staff...they couldn't have been more attentive. Can't wait to return ...so many yummy choices ...it was truly hard to decide.
Wonderful atmosphere, great location, beautiful scenery. Eat outside on their balcony, it's gorgeous. We were there in May and the weather was beautiful, not too hot at all. Evening dinner, we watched the sunset over the water views. I honestly can't say enough great things about their food. A bit pricey, but worth every penny. My husband and I are really picky and usually find something that we can say wasn't up to par, but at ELA's we seriously loved every moment. Been having dinner on this island for 15 years and this is hands down the best! Food, VIEW, staff, and wine were all 5 star! Makes complete sense why they won most romantic restaurant on the island last year! Can't wait to go back! Thank you!
Reserved through Open Table, but when we arrived, they would not let us sit outside without an hour wait. Was very disappointed. Older crowd.

Had lunch on 4/29/14. Ate inside (a bit breezy outside.) Very nice view of harbor and inlet from marsh. Had the fish tacos (made with swordfish.....very good.) Also had fresh lemonade/iced tea (Arnold Palmer)....also VERY good. Hard to rate kitchen since luncheon menu was a bit limited. But liked what we saw. Would go back.
The restaurant is upstairs and has a beautiful deck overlooking the water and boat docks. We were greeted right away and had a lovely table. The service was attentive but not overbearing. We ate brunch at Ela's. Food and drink were excellent, service was not attentive. Didn't really welcome us very well, offered us the smallest table although many were available (but did let us change), needed to have check adjusted as they still had register programmed for Easter weekend prices. Food and outdoor seating were great. They could work on some friendliness and some happiness to improve the experience.
