It was a pleasure to work with Shimi and his team, including Charles and Deborah. They were extremely attentive to our needs, and responded quickly to our myriad questions. Not only that, but we managed to secure our loan without an appraisal AND at a lower than expected interest rate! We also got a bonus gift at closing! Wow what an amazing experience to obtain our first mortgage with Shimi Globman and his branch of Guaranteed Rate! They worked overtime yo get us to closing on time in just 30 days and took care of everything from A-Z. They answered every phone call with patience and always answrered our questions and concerns in a way we could understand. Shimi was amazing at working out the loan and specifically making it work with a irregular income. He and Charles were always available and returned my calls quickly every time. They explained all aspects of the loan process, educating me as a first time home buyer so that I felt I understood the different steps in the process well. Shimi never stopped fighting for us. We were able to lock into a very attractive rate but 2 weeks before closing, Shimi called and explained that he could renegotiate an even better rate at no added cost or expense. He was able to further improve our deal by 37 basic points. Incredible experience and highly recommend him!
