My wife had to wait in the hallway for 20 min while in severe pain from major back surgery. We also had problems with admissions and the insurance coverage, they could not figure out which coverage was the primary for my wife and made me jump through hoops to straighten it all out. Very bad experience getting started.

The facility looks nice and some of the therapists are top notch. However, the day to day nurses/staff are awful. Cleanups take days, post-meal insulin is hours late, compromising patients condition, nurses brush you off when making a request. Really lacking the basics we would expect in a favility like this and severely lacking the touch of a caring staff. Thumbs down.

While I was not a patient at SRALab I was a patient at RIC in 2015. Many of the therapists now work at SRA Lab. I also volunteered for a research study which was very interesting. The quallity of care and the rehab I got at RIC was fantastic. In 2015 I suffered a stroke and could not walk or use my left arm or hand. I can now walk (with a cane) and use my left arm and hand. I live independently now due to the rehab at RIC. The intensive therapy and excellent therapists are unequaled anywhere. I was sad to leave.
