After 6 months of research, I decided on a suppressor from Silencer Central based largely on their sales pitch of electronic filing and customer service. They told me 90-120 days total wait time, with lots of communication from them during that time. After 160 days with no suppressor and no personal contact, I talked to a smug rep who told me "I" had chosen to file by paper which would take 10-12 months. Ummmm....wrong. Wish I had never chose to deal with Silencer Central. Made my order and paid in full for two silencers and attachments in September of 2021. Received emails stating that the *** had my paperwork and had 30 days several months ago. At the time I ordered I was told wait time of seven. To eight months. That time frame just keeps expanding and ever time I call it's the ***'s fault. Then I'm told there will be no refund and it may be 15 months. I've been waiting over a year and a half now I've been in contact with them a couple times now with it should be going through anytime now told them to refund all my money but of course they said they can't I have found this to be one of the most stressful transaction I have ever dealt with.

I paid for a suppressor for my rifle 15 months ago and I have still not received. I emailed multiple occasions saying that I would simply like my money returned so that I can go through the e-filing process, which evidently takes a fraction of the time for approval. Well, emailing did not work. So, then I called and I was impolitely told by the service rep that there would not be a refund since the *** had not reviewed my paperwork. I first sent my payment on February 7,2021 to SC.. I know for a fact it was this date because my brother in law purchased a suppressor from a local shop the same day, he's already received his tax stamp and suppressor. I learned long after that my paper work being so easy from SC wasn't even sent to the atf until April 24th of 2021 I believe when I initially thought it was sent on February 7th. I paid for a silencer from Silencer Central in Dec 2000 in the amount of $1239.31. After 18 months I do not have my silencer. I have tried to call them three times. They never answer their telephone. Today I have left a message on their voice mail telling that I am going to call ************ and dispute this charge. I expect a full refund of my paid fees. I recently was attending a course held by Sig *****. Several of the participants got their silencers in 90 days. 18 months is ridulous and criminal. I expect a full refund.... read more

My interaction with SC is much like the other interactions below. I've repeatedly tried to make contact with them to inquire about my purchase. I can't view it online because I ordered it over the phone..? Makes zero sense. I purchased the ****** .223 due to its price as opposed to the ****** 30. With all that I was signed up for, a ****** suppressor cover, a baffle removal tool, which I didn't ask for but was told it was pretty much a necessity so I didn't have to "bang my suppressor on something to remove the baffles!" I purchased a suppressor on September 24, 2020 - Silencer Central took the funds out of my account on that day. I had noticed in March of 2021 that I had not received any e-mail updates on my order status so I called them. Their response was that I had not signed the documents so the application was still pending - if I did not sign the documents correctly how were they able to withdraw the funds from my account. I ordered a silencer from this company and they took my money. Had the full payment. This has been going on since December 14th. They sent a couple of emails. First couple were to fill out paperwork. Next was to purchase a second silencer. Now, I haven't been able to talk to anyone since about a month ago. Eventually had a message from Maagie I was going to get a call this past Tuesday. No call. I ended up calling the FBI because the paperwork I filled out had my whole life on it. I have not received my silencer or a refund.
