I made an appointment online for a test that required one, and while I was driving over the the Paradise Valley location, they called and said the tech was gone for the day and didn’t know why the system was allowing appt for that time.
On Wednesday 11/3 we had a 3:45pm appointment for my daughter. When scheduling the appointment I was told they could get her in the next day if we paid $300 cash for the MRI. While I felt it was important to get her in sooner vs later we have insurance and I believed that I really needed to go this route. This is why we have insurance, right? Not the center at Bell and 42nd street. I waited over 1 1/2 hours for my appt and probably would have waited more if I hadn’t went to the desk and asked how much longer. When I was waiting to go into the MRI a man who came in 40 minutes after me was coming out of the MRI. I think they misplaced my paperwork. Besides the wait, their machine is so loud that it sounded like my ear was next to a fire alarm going off and I have ear plugs in
When I made the appointment, I told them that I was oxygen dependent and would need to hook up to a tank when I got there. There was no tank and they never found one. If I had not had the big tank with me, it would have been a 911 situation.
I was rescheduled multiple times . They would cancel it at the last minute when I’m ready to leave the house . First appt I was already in the facility and waited for 2 hrs for order clarification and then canceled me because I’m behind the schedule. 2nd appt I was cancelled an hour before the procedue for they don’t perform MRI on that facility. 3rd appt I waited for 2 hrs and then cancelled me again for they have no radiology ; left already because they are busy and behind of the schedule. 4th appt I’m ready to leave th... read more
Processing to check in is terrible! A lady “called” before me left after waiting 1.2 hours. 2 other facilities close to me had their X-ray machines down!
They take a long time to answer and return calls. My Xray of possibly dislocated shoulders was deemed inconclusive. I then spent 3 months bouncing between my insurance, doctor and SimonMed trying to get CAT scans of my shoulders and a mammogram. Couldn't get CAT scans and mammogram during same visit. All their machines were down, at every location. I have mobility issues and it's too hot in AZ to be chasing images at a barely air conditioned site. By far the worst customer service, rude receptionists, malfunctioning equipment in more then one location, poorly trained phone staff and a terrible back office interpreting referrals incorrectly. First call resulted in discovery of a wrong input of the referral CT scan, spent an hour correcting that, called back for appointment after waiting 20 minutes on hold, was given a 10:15 appointment, arrive at 9:45 completed the paper work waited an hour without any update, asked the rude receptionist what is taking so long, her rep... read more
The young woman in front was very snippy and not friendly at all the woman who did my mammogram she was ok the tech who did my ultrasound was very pleasant as was her assistant I was also very hot in that back waiting room, and when I scheduled appointment was busy elected to have them call me back took 4 days for them to call I had already made the appointment
