If you are a customer sevice manager, in charge of the front desk, and you call security because your guest uses polysyllabic words you cannot understand, you may want to check on being a security guard! If your head of security ( Mr. Gibson on 09/07/14 @7:00 PM..) is mis-cast as a security officer when it is painfully obvious he has the sole understanding of what exactly customer service is. Horrible customer service! Just checked in with reservations and they charged me an additional $60 deposit. I just paid $60 for the room and now you want more money?! It's our anniversary and the hotel manager was no help at all and called hotel security on us. Mr Gibson from security was very helpful and gave us a $45 voucher to use on food. I have to say that when we come to visit from Hawaii our hotel of hoice was to stay at Silver Legacy. However NOT anymore! There was a situation with the valet where they ignored our vehicle after we clearly said we are trying to get through, and proceeded to assist other guests. So my husband had to take matters into his own hands and show the valet how to valet. Husband and I just returned from a 3-day visit to the resort and are NOT happy for a few reasons. First when we made reservations for the trip we paid a deposit upon check-in on Wed we were told there was an additional $50 deposit. We asked why we weren't told about this other deposit at the time we paid the other deposit and all they said was "they must have forgotten"....this was a ridiculous response given that your reservation staff does this all day, every day and that seems like a pretty big thing to "forget".
