This place is ridiculous. Blown out tire. Late Friday afternoon. Two places I called (my car dealership and a well known discount tire chain) flat out refused to work with them. Refused. I finally found a place that was willing to try AND had my tire. They were told it could take a few hours to get approval. It is now 5pm on a Friday, the tire shop closes at 6pm. I wish I could give this company -5 stars! This is by far the worst extended warranty company my repair shop has ever worked it. Took 45 minutes to get through on the phone only for them to have me call another number to start a claim. After starting the claim they said they will only pay cost on parts(I own a the business so I can't do the work at cost), they they said they needed to send an inspector out. I had a warranty through smart auto care and needed to replace the engine on a 2010 Chevy Silverado. The amount of time to get through or to get a reply from a representative with smart auto care, was extremely difficult. I was in verbal contact with a representative named Gay M****, she was rude, unhelpful & completely unprofessional. What we agreed on with replacing the engine was not what showed up at the shop. I've taken my vehicle in for repair on multiple occasions for the rear air suspension that will lower while the vehicle is being driven & when it's parked making it very unstable to drive, when it's taking in to the dealership it remains in their shop for months at a time with no rental provided one dealership told me they found a leak in the rear suspension and it needs to be replaced but the extended warranty denied the claim after sending out a inspector due to the dealership failing to specifically show them what part wa... read more

This company will not honor warranty claim of a known issue with engine being worked on. Claim was rejected for owner changing his own oil. Ask to see a contract for the warranty and was never given one. Never buying extended warranty again. Very disappointed in their business ethics.

I paided $2,500 for this vehicle service agreement in 2017. I was told that my vehicle would be covered if I needed repairs done after my factory warranty ran out. Well let me inform any one that may be thinking of this plan RUN. They will only cover what they want too. They will always say it is not in your contract. I never got a contact. If I had I would have canceled it. The worst company I have ever had to deal with. This company is nothing but a fraud. They convince car dealerships that they cover vehicles. We needed to use our platinum warranty for an issue with our 2015 Chevy Silverado. The vacuum pump needed replacement and when it was submitted we were denied because it was listed in contract as vacuum - not vacuum pump. There is no vacuum but they are replaced with a vacuum pump per or mechanic. When submitted we were denied reimbursement due to the wording in the contract. We have left 2 messages with the Mike M. Who sold us the contract with no return call. They have sold us a contract that does not pertain to our truck.

This company engages in questionable marketing practices. In this unstable economy, they set out letters on pink paper. Let's go through the reasons this letter is threatening: 1. looks like an attempt to collect a debt. The pink paper is the tell on this. They might think its a pretty color, but its a tool to get the recepients to open the letter. 2. like most of their market, they are looking to engender fear. Constant letters, emails, and robocalls.
