I have purchased numerous shades from Smith & Noble over the years. I recently had a lift cord break on a shade that was purchased in 2009. When I sent an email to find out if I could repair the broken cord, I received a return email from Tesiah letting me know that this was a warranty issue and she requested additional information. Her correspondence with me was professional and efficient and she already has a replacement shade on order. The customer service is top-notch. I will order from them every time! This morning I called the S&N Customer Care line and spoke to Shandyn Smock. I informed her that I ordered my window treatments on the 6th of October and was informed that I would have my product in home within 2 weeks. Well, I did not hear from the company so I called and we noticed that the ship date was not until the 28th of October. Shandyn called a contact through the company and in less than 5 minutes from the time we hung up she had an answer for me. My thanks to Art Champen in Quality Assurance for his help in getting a part of our order that was shipped in the wrong size corrected and replaced. He was always pleasant and patient. A good reason to shop with Smith and Noble as the need arises.

I have ordered blinds from S&N many times in the past. Today I was ordering a very large honeycomb shade with an inside mount for a bow window that's for my mother so I HAD to get it right. Their online tools & guides are quite extensive once you find them and take the time to read through them. After doing my homework, I needed to verify some critical inside mount measurements so I online-chatted with Carol Alaniz who was very helpful. Agent Becky Young truly went above and beyond to help us out. We received the wrong order for our blinds but didn't know for several weeks due to travel and other circumstances. When we discovered our incorrect order we were so stressed because it was past the return grace period, but Becky made sure we got the correct order and even had someone from Smith and Noble come out and measure for us so that we could be sure we'd get the correct measurements. This is the second time I've worked with Smith and Noble but the first time I did my own on line ordering. I had a good experience the first time and they have an amazing turnaround time. So I put in my choices and measurements in the easy to follow website form but had a question before I pressed the final "place my order" button. We have had great experience with Smith & Noble. We used them for all of our blinds and shades at a second home in 2003. We have been very satisfied with the blinds. Their warranty can't be beat. Just this week we had the cord to one of the blinds break. Since the manufacturer changed they gave us a warranty credit for all of the blinds in the room which we could use to make the replacement. Probably the best warranty experience we have ever had.

I ordered window treatments for 8 windows in my home, and used the S&N installer to make the measurements. Then the sales agent messed up my order so 2 of the blinds were wrong and had to be reordered resulting in a solid month of delays. Before the order could even be complete the installed blinds have started falling apart. I didn't realize for the amount that I was spending that I was receiving discount poor quality products.
