Disappointing Experience Pro: The movers were very courteous and respectful. Con: The movers told me that they could not get two pieces of furniture - a sofa and a curio cabinet - up the stairs to my living room. Con: They broke the latch on my front gate while moving a piece of patio furniture over it. They also left numerous dents in the stairwells. Movers no-showed; SML said they'd give back deposit but still have not despite multiple calls Move out was good; not excellent, but it was solid. Move-in: Had a service elevator booked at my condo; mover's could not make it in the 1 hr period booked, gave me no heads-up, and returned call after time-period to say they were still at other job and were gonna head my way (which was too late). Great Experience, Amazing Movers!! Both loading my truck in Texas, and unloading it in Colorado, I had fantastic movers! There was amazing attention to every detail. When putting back together my desk, the movers and I struggled to figure out a complicated drawer, which of course, they didn't take apart. But they stuck with it until it was back together correctly! All in all, just a great bunch of people to work with. I appreciate Simple Moving Labor tremendously!
Great service The crew showed up on time, did an incredible job of loading, were very careful. My only reason for not giving them five stars across the board is that I was told I would be able to extend the time, but the crew advised they had another job scheduled. Again, they were great, just a little hiccup at time of scheduling. Give yourself enough time. These guys are great!
Just perfect! From beginning to end my experience was positive. The SML reps I spoke to were knowledgeable, patient and kind. Moving is stressful but the reps helped relieve any anxiety. As for the movers Tony and Kenny...another thumbs up!!! Extremely careful with my belongings, efficient and really knew what they were doing. Extra bonus with them is they were so nice! Thank you SML!
A few problems Overall good scheduling and communication but on unloading found that items had not been loaded properly and consequently were damaged or soiled. In the latter case, many furniture pads were available but weren't used.
The guys were great. Really good job playing Tetris getting all our stuff to fit. Everything traveled safely with no breakage.
first time use of this type of service was impressive I needed assistance in moving my daughter from Florida to Pennsylvania because of a bad knee. I saw the SML reference on the Penske truck rental site and a discount for Penske users. From first phone call until the end of the move, everything was exceptional. Reminders calls to ensure correct address to calls making sure employees arrived on time and if we were happy with their ongoing work. The 2 man crew was outstanding.
