Broke after 13 months Worked great for about a year. After a year, water leaked into the cable, at the anti-tangle connection, causing the power supply to lose connection to the robot. After taking it apart, the copper plates were completely corroded, which would require a replacement to fix.
Serious design flaw While the robot does a good job when it works, it consistently throws it's tracks in the middle of a cleaning job. I really like this robot as it came with the house and the pool and seem to work just fine at first. Then the tracks started coming off. I first tried installing a new track myself. But it too came off. Then I thought maybe I should just buy a new robot so I did. And soon thereafter the same robot had the same tracks falling off. My pool is nothing special. DEFICIENT PRODUCT Had this item for just over 1 year used it perhaps 10x and it is now not working. I made sure I removed robot from pool after every cleaning and cleaned filters after every use. This should not have happened !!
Keep looking Bought this for my mother three months ago and it abruptly stopped working today. Company said they would fix but we would have to ship and it will take at least three weeks to fix. Unacceptable for the price, look elsewhere.
Not worth it! My son and I took on the project of painting our pool. We emptied, pressure washed, acid washed, primed and painted in this Arizona heat and the results were awesome as you can see. So I decided to treat him with less pool chores (so I thought) with a new pool cleaner. My thinking was that he would only need to sweep the steps and the side seat. Controller sucks! Controller quit working after less than 90 days!- and have made several phone calls and even sent email- no response!Very disappointing customer support. At this point I will not recommend this product!
Intended Function not as descibed Unit seemed decent however the online described as being for above and Inground pools.When we received unit, the instructions specifically stated may cause damage to above ground( vinyl) pools.We returned easily, but disappointed online description did not accurately describe possible damage to above ground pools.
after one use on second time unit only moves about 1 to 2 feet and stops very disappointed with unit need to send it back
I always had problems with the hose! I bought this product 5 months ago via Amazon and I always had problems with the hose that always rolls up on its own and a few days ago the device stopped working and I already did everything it was supposed to do, disconnected the hose and cables and reconnected it, etc, etc.Simply does not work.
