Dolphin pool cleaner I ordered the robot in July. It stopped working in Aug. I plugged it in, turned it on and there was no power to the machine. It stopped working. Now I'm trying to return it to Backyard pool super store on Amazon they have a 20% restocking fee. If it's not Backyard pool super store fault or a 50% restocking fee or declined return that do not meet unused or re-sellable condition. I contacted the manufacturer they going to fix it but I have to pay the shipping fee.
Dead in the water after 45 days. Purchased on July 2nd, 2025 and unit is dead in the water on August 23rd. Cost me $90 to ship to Maytronics for warranty repair. Have not received any information from Maytronics when the robot will be repaired or returned. There are cheaper robots made in China that I could have purchased; however, I wanted a highly rated product that would be reliable and of high quality. This certainly has proofed me wrong.
Stopped working after two years of use. Stopped working after two years. While it was working it cleaned my pool well and I was happy with it. One day I plugged it in and it would not go. Tried a few trouble shooting options. Even purchased a new cord, but that did not work. Tried to reach out to the company but never heard back. It was out of warranty so I threw it in the trash. Quit working After only 3 years of use, it completely quit working. Very disappointed.
Unit is dead after two years. Pool data, 36x18 vinyl liner, pool rehabbed in Sep 2023. The robot lasted exactly two years, and the motor seized. The performance when working was good, but occasionally required back to back cycles to get all debris. I found starting mid summer going into year two of using it, that couldn’t hold onto the walls anymore. I replaced the climbing rings and that seemed to have fixed some issues. AVOID AT ALL COSTS DO NOT PURCHASE! Dolphin stopped working after 5-6 uses, I contacted Maytronics and advised that under 'warranty terms' it was my responsibility to pack up unit to ship, which is a huge hassle; and the cost of the shipping ($100+) was my responsibility....SOME WARRANTY! If this piece of junk stopped working after 90 days how much faith do I have that it will last several years?? NONE!! Do yourself a favor and buy a better brand.
DON'T DO IT. DON'T DO IT. I spent so much money for something and it stop working as promised. Look for another company that can provide a product that is worth the expense.
Gets stuck frequently The media could not be loaded. It is obsessed with my stairs. Most of the time it ends up there, unable to free itself, as shown in this video. The rest of the pool stays dirty. The cord is also crumbling after exposure to sunlight. Why did you guys have to make it blue instead of black?
Already broken Had for 1 month and already broke. $1500 purchase and company not very willing to help with the issue. Already have to buy a new cord.
