This the worst Medical facility in Austin. The staff does not communicate well with the patient at all. My daughter delivered at home and EMT recommended this hospital for the one on one care they give. Well the care they give because its a hospital and they will diffiently get there money, caregivers No. The staff in Labor and Deliver started off wrong with no commication/explanation and/or listening skills to the patient or family. If you have a choice, avoid this ER. Discharge report includes prescriptions provided but not medications given in the ER (this info should be provided for the follow-up with one's own doctor). Had to ask for lab report--why isn't that automatically provided? (again, one's own doctor needs this for responsible follow-up). And my doctor's office requested culture results and never got them. My doctor also indicated that a prescribed antibiotic was not the best or most appropriate one; she ended up having to do another cul... read more
