South County Lexus was a disappointment. They increased the price of the vehicle by $2,000 the night before my appointment. When I inquired, one staff person said the Internet Sales Manager increased it for the weekend and another said they change the prices based on market conditions. When I arrived, they tried to convince me that the original (high) price was now the best deal. Other Lexus dealers decreased their prices on the same weekend. Started off good with communication, Made an appointment to see and test drive car and 5 minutes before appointment I get a text saying a walk on is looking at car now so I walk up and start looking at car and the walk on goes straight in and buys the car, I drove 45 minutes with an appointment so I was not a happy camper.

Asked about a particular vehicle. Had to make an appointment to see it . I made appointment for next morning when they opened . Received a phone call that night . They said vehicle sold . I called dealership back they said that it was still in stock . I asked them to double check . They responded that is was still there . So I decided to drive 20 miles to see the car only to find out that the person I had the appointment with was not coming in to work . She had an emergency. No problem stuff happens . The former Park Place now South County Lexus should have a pedigree befitting of its clientele. Instead, they exhibit the stereotypical scam dealership behaviors and preys on their well-to-do clients who aren't concerned about anything but status and are willing to overpay out of laziness and disregard for their accomplishments that allows them to spend twice as much as the equally reliable Toyota products that Lexus is based off of. My worst experience with a dealer ever! This might be fine for you if you have excess cash to burn, but when I went to purchase a used vehicle, their data analytics to determine the selling price is way off. A used Honda went from an original listed price of $21K to $23K 30 days later. How does this happen? Supply and demand. The price of goods is what people are willing to pay. I can't afford to waste my money by paying overpriced values for their vehicles.

Took my car in as a service needed light had gone on on my dash upon starting. Even was thorough, professional, and kind. I just was not expecting to have to pay $1,000 for a car with 40,000 miles on it. I wish the little regularly scheduled maintenances were covered under warranty. $1,000 is pretty steep for what all I had done.
