Powers Pet Emergency & Specialty rocks, especially the awesome Neurosurgeon, Dr. Ko. I didn't realize that this facility also handled highly specialized services such as MRIs and specialized surgeries until my Ginger, a 12-yr-old heeler, blew out a disk in her neck. It put her in an extreme amount of pain and was quite debilitating. My primary vet in Monument highly recommended him and sent me directly to him to have her examined. Saved my dog and also helped me out on the bill!!!
These guys saved my dog a few years ago and he's still going strong. He came down with GDV (bloat/torsion) in the middle of the night. The vet performed emergency surgery. It was touch and go, his spleen almost didn't make it, but Brutus came through intact. I just wanted you all to know that my yellow lab Brutus is now about 7 years old and doing great.
I want to thank the staff for their kindness and help with my beloved Horatio this past weekend. We had to say goodbye to him, but the dignity and respect that the late night staff showed to him and my son meant so much. Thank you!
