If you enjoy paying for unnecessary testing, being belittled, never actually seeing a vet and being lied to, this is the place for you. This place used to be amazing. Now it’s an actual pit of hell you MUST avoid in your pets time of need. Tonight my fully vaccinated dog with no fever or diarrhea was denied treatment because I questioned the demand for a parvo test. We knew he didn’t have parvo. Unacceptable behavior. Horrible attitude from the front desk. Maya the technician was amazing, kind, respectful and caring. Dr. Driscoll was kind, intelligent and was able to provide help for my dog. The two woman working this night shift ( front desk ) have been absolutely horrendous and unacceptable customer service skills. My dog died this morning after I spent two hours in this place's lobby last night and they couldn't be bothered to see us. I have no idea how or why, but she was vomiting all weekend and I finally brought her in at about 7pm just to be gruffly blown off by the front desk girl who told me to scan the QR code and check in. Hysterically, they kept telling everyone that came in after me it would be "an hour wait" but that was a blatant lie. **I was told 6 times they were short staffed ** so at least they communicated THAT!! My boy was not acting like himself, shaking, trembling, bobbing his head. It started last night. On December 17 at 4:30 am Dakota was in pain and would not drink or eat food. It seemed that she was unable to walk and was drooling due to a small seizure. We took our pet to Powers Animal Hospital assuming she had a stroke. The staff triaged us and realized she had a fever. They placed her in the cooling room and gave her pain meds, and didn’t think it was a stroke. About 4.5 hours later they informed us it’s taking longer than usual and dr. hasn’t reviewed her yet.
