If you love your pet DON'T take them here! terrible! brought my cat in - waited 7 hours before anyone bother to access his condition and then was sent home. After 7 hours he was finally accessed and was told his temp was low three times and was told to go home and wrap him in a blanket and that he was dehydrated due to his bad teeth. My cat was in such bad shape that he was unable to stand and was in and out of consciousness during the exam at the other emergency vet. It’s 3am not a soul here and they tell me they can’t see us until after 6am because the Dr is in surgery and the next Dr won’t be in until after 6am We have been here 3 times in the past waited hours and NEVER SEEN

We have now taken three cats to this place. They just want your money and dont want to actually treat your pet, especially if its a cat. They have gotten their money, and still do not give a crap. Not once have we had any compassion or good bedside manner, and every time we walk in they're just concerned about the money. Powers emergency vet told me last night.They can't see any more animals tonight, and that Nevada emergency vet hospital is not seeing anymore animals either.That I need to google emergency vets in Denver and go their. Nevada emergency vet hospital took wonderful care of my pet last night and they were very nice. unlike Powers don't wanna work building.
I would not recommend. This place wanted to charge $2500 (low) to $3900 (high) for 48 hours of care after our daughters dog (foreign body surgery). My daughter brought her dog up to Centennial and her dog only required 24 hour care and the total was $1000. In addition Powers left in her IV without the saline connected which resulted in her paw to become very swollen. In addition our daughter put down a deposit and then decided to move her up here, paid the $57 exam fee and they did not want to reimburse her credit card. Base... read more
I would not recommend this place because they immediately required a parvo test even though my dog was up to date on his shots. They had our dog for hours and determined that he might have an intestinal blockage and gave him 3 strong medicines by injection. The next day we took our dog to a different vet hospital and they found a golf ball size absess under my dog's tongue. Update: My dog was diagnosed with Vestibular Syndrome the next morning at our regular Vet clinic. She was in the hospital the entire day. She received IV fluids and anti nausea medication and was sent home with anti nausea medicine. Our Veterinarian also said there were no notes even showing she had been evaluated. Dr. Davis is an incompetent veterinarian who is very condescending and has no compassion for a terrified pet owner. The customer service here is the worst I have dealt with.
