Car evap system still not fixed. In shop 2 times and check engine light still on.
Tech left crumbs all over my seats and his trash inside my car. Panels he removed weren't put back correctly. Poor service.
Made a 3 hour drive one way to find the car I was interested in had a crack in the grill. I thought the salesman agreed to a $500 reduction to the sales price but after he came back from "behind the curtain" he was told they would fix it there which meant we could not take delivery that day. Dashboard said mainenance due so I took car in on Sat. monring. All went according to plan with oil change, tire rotation and checklist made. The honda employee excellent
Car was towed to location with issue described in extended warranty letter received from Honda. Met resistance every step of the way to get the work done. Required multiple calls back and forth over the course of a WEEK to convince them that the job was covered under said extended warranty even after numerous conversations with USA Honda who repeatedly stated it was covered. This dealer suggested me to change the cabin filter when I did oil change. I refused that service at that time. I found my glove cabin door cannot be closed after I came back home. I thought they did not put it back properly since I didn't accept that service at that time.
Advisor doesn't really tell you everything
Generally, I am happy with Southpoint Honda service. I have, on the other hand, spend several thousands of dollars re: a rattle in my car, and after having the shocks replaced, still have the rattle. I also fear that I am getting upsold on services that are not critical.
Purchased the vehicle in December and went in for the first service. I was told that the car needed almost $700 in services that were due. When asked why weren't the services done prior to me purchasing the vehicle the service manager just said they didn't know and you would have to ask the sales team. I reached out to the sales team and never received a call back.
