Interest rate toooo high failure to negotiate on behalf of the financial office.
Took to long and poor communication
I went in to get a cover for my key cylinder that worked fine but wanted to fix cosmetically. After I get home I find that my key stopped working and they messed up the inside. When I asked about it they said it was already broken and I should've been told. I was never told and then was told I'm using the wrong key even though I've been using the same keys for 10 years I think I know which one I'm supposed to use. Went there for an oil change. It was overpriced. They also made expensive recommendations that i didn't need. For example, to get new spark plugs, and air and cabin filters. However, I had changed these in may car a month before. I felt i was being scammed.
Took car in for repair of gas tank door actuator. Charged $200 to diagnose it and brought back a list of repairs needed totaling $5000+. I declined the repairs and took my car to Chapel Hill Tire Car Care Center and their quote was less than half of Southpoint Honda AND they diagnosed the problem for free.
Got my civics oil change and recall fuel pump complete, when I got home noticed a bolt in back seat, grease on top of ceiling, and hood not locked. I had to take it back to get it cleaned which they did.
My car wasn't serviced due to inadequate communication and staffing. The previous times I've taken my car to this location, their service department is always trying to upsell me on additional services that aren't even needed. I've found another dealership and I will not be returning!
I had a light come on in my car and took it to Southpoint to have it checked and mitigated. They found absolutely nothing wrong. So I paid them for checking and left. It came back on a week later. They gave me the clear to drive regardless of the light being on. Long story short, my car died on the side of the road. Super frustrated. I had to initiate repairs, refund, etc. Very disappointed as I typically highly rate Southpoint Honda
No stars given. The shop kept my car for 8 hours no updates. Never performed the initial service I requested.
