The service advisor was friendly like always. But the technicians did not top off all fluids.
Efficient and friendly customer service rep was what I liked. What I did not like was the supposed Multi-point inspection. I signed up for the Three Oil Change, Tire Rotation, and Multi-point inspection. Within a couple of days of this service, my car battery died. Granted it was old and in need of replacement. I had to find myself a jump and get to an auto parts store to buy a new one. Had this been a true multipoint inspection, the weak battery would have been discovered and replaced on the spot.
The service team left my fuel gauge disconnected when repairing a manufacturers recall. After running out of gas, I was told to bring it in anytime; quick repair, no need for an appointment. Upon arrival, I was again told it would be a quick fix. Fifteen minutes later I was told it would be 2 hours before the repair could be made. After 2 hours, I was given a loaner. I got a call at 30 minutes to 5pm that day letting me know that my car was ready, and the loner had to back by 5pm. Horrible
Our visit to Southpoint Honda has been pleasant and professional in the past couple of years. This last visit was not. We arrived at our appointment time and were quickly informed of how bad my tires looked and given prices. At this time, that large of an investment was not an option and we let our service technician know. The time our appointment took for the oil change and tire rotation was satisfactory but I am about 95% certain the tires were NOT rotated and no car wash which was included.
Sales person was nice, but had questions about warranty. Asked several times and were told financial services would talk to us about it - no one talked to us about it until we were signing paperwork for the car. Told them repeatedly we needed monthly payment to be $300/month or less. Paid $10k down payment, monthly payment still over $300 because of warranty. Almost walked away before something was done to bring it down - still unhappy about the run around
They charged incorrectly. It was brought to their attention immediately. Promised to return extra payment later however not returning. Quote one bill more among other things
Although they took me quickly and replaced the battery quickly, the technician forgot to reset the system. So days later certain things weren't working. I had to go back and that's when they told me it was the technician's fault.
I went there for an oil change, and car came back with all sorts of problems. I will never go back.
I took my car into to get the tires aligned and rotated and balanced. I waited in the waiting room. My customer service woman came in and told me since they had to run the engine on accessor the battery was dead. I had to wait 10-15 minutes so it could be properly jumped and revived. I went back to Chapel Hill the car wouldn't start. I called the service dept of Southpoint HOnda but I could only leave messages not speak to anyone in the service dept.
