Stopped by without an appointment because I had a screw in my tire. It only required a simple plug. The service advisor I typically work with was not there. The service advisor that helped me said it would be 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I questioned it because normally it would only take 30 minutes or less. He was right. It took a full 1 hour and 45 minutes to plug a tire. Really?
Wait time, made appointment and still took 5 + hours
It took a bit too long to complete the service.
Like the fact they were willing to help me even though I didn't have an appointment. Unfortunately, the thing I hated was the fact I had buy a battery for a vehicle I just bought less than a six months ago.
Seemingly good service for routine 45,000 mile maintenance. However, the maintenance indicator was not reset and two weeks later, on a Sunday, when I was in Boone 170 miles away and planning to return to Durham that day, my car suddenly told me I had only 15% oil. I decided to return anyway, added a quart of oil at an intermediate stop just in case I had a severe oil leak (the station did not have the best type of oil so I tried to add the next best choice) and did make it back OK. Service was quick since they were about to close so they had to rush. Tech whipped my car like the fast and the furious when I was there to pick it up. Other than that, I guess my car is ok? Maybe try treating people's cars with a little bit of care.
Waited for almost 3 hours for an oil change. Tires were supposed to be rotated but I'm not sure that happened as there are no notes about it. Had to ask multiple times for the 'free" car wash including after it was brought around. Glove box was jammed where they looked at the cabin filter and trash from the filter was left in the floorboard.
Super pushy about unwanted services
I would buy more cars from the salesman and have owned several Honda's in the past. Where issues were fixed from other dealerships. My issue is I don't believe the dealership intentionally sold me a car with bad radio,( because that would not be legal as they pointed out we signed all documents of full disclosure . and when notified they were just like oh well. Sorry about your luck. The radio puts out static after it gets warm. Even when you turn the power off it gets louder . You really can't think of hear yourself think. ... read more
