Was the only place I could find open on a Sunday, they couldn't get me in for hours, my pup was struggling to breath, I called back to let them know, they said you can came sit here and see if we can get you in but its not likely, I went there and sat for a little bit when it was our turn my pup coded, the tried CPR and he didn't make it. $600 dollars later and I lost my baby.... I don't recommend

Overlooked issues with my sweet two year old dog and the only concern seems to be as many expensive procedures as they can add on time and time again. This place used to be good YEARS ago. Now they just want your money and have zero concern for animals. Sad.

We have brought both our dogs here and seems there is always an up charge/service. We called last night and talked to a tech about our dog. We had him at the dog park and he had some tender paws. Not cracked or bleeding, just a little bit of discomfort. We were looking for some ideas to sooth his pads but instead we were told we really needed to bring him in and get X-Rays etc. Not one bit of advice on how to relieve our dogs tenderness. We won't be going back to Southview.

We brought our beautiful Pomeranian to the vet, after a 3 hour wait and me having to ask for water for her since she was dehydrated they decided to keep her overnight. They called in the morning saying she was great and we could come get her. I thought I had to wait 24 hrs (their policy) said I would be there at 4 PM. They called at 3 PM asking when I would come. We took our leopard gecko here twice for an eye issue. Both times they prescribed antibiotics and charged us over $100 each time. Eye problem continued. We stopped into Twin city Reptile and the guy behind the counter looked at a picture of our gecko, informed us she had shed stuck in her eye and instructed us how to remove it. I would expect a Vet who claims to treat reptiles would know the basics or at the very least as much as the guy behind the counter at the pet store. Do not bring your reptiles here.

I give Southview Animal Hospital a big 0 (zero). My beautiful brindle boxer didn't survive because of their lack of training in gall bladder obstructions. Instead of referring me to a specialist to have emergency surgery for him, they kept him an extra day, took their time giving him an ultrasound, and only after my sweet boy's gall bladder ruptured did they release him and refer me to the specialist! To say that Southview is the best animal hospital is an understatement. They are nothing short of phenomenal. My story is long but I will do my best to keep it short. My fur baby (puppy) had gotten very sick, we brought her to a hospital that was very sterile, cold and very much like a lab. We were told to go home, get some sleep and come to get our baby in the morning. We did that and she was in horrible condition upon our return. I brought my cat here after hours for an emergency visit the vet tech was very nice and good with handling my Kitty. The vet however, was rude and incompetent- she refused to clean my cats wound, after she was unable to get him to sit still and calm down in a room with at least one other cat and a dog.
