Southview is our new vet and we love it! So far I've only had to take my rabbit in and it is SO NICE how they have an exotic vet readily available. It's so easy to get in for an appointment because they have many vetss. Shout out to Dr. Ford - I will be requesting her for all future visits. She was gentle with my rabbit and really knew what she was doing (I've been to vets who really didn't know exotics). Their shiny new facility is clean and bright. I'm glad I decided to go to Southview.
I have a favorite vet there and she is wonderful. Not as expensive as some and I can get an animal in quickly.
We had a urgent case with our little mouse on a Sunday. We went to Como but they were going to charge ~$150 for the visit and a 2 hr wait. While in their waiting room, I stumbled across Southview and called - they had a free spot for a new patient within the hour! We quickly drove over and they checked us in earlier. We are extremely grateful for Dr. Lee and her kindness and compassion for our little patient. He isn't a dog or cat but everybody still treated him just as important. Dr. Foster and his team are the best around. I have been taking my pets to Southview Animal Hospital for over 20 years. My cat Samson was on the verge of death from a bot fly larvae that was up in his nose. He was suffering for almost a month with major breathing and coughing and sneezing. We were about to put him down due to the suffering he was living through, but first we did the CT Scan that Dr. Foster recommended and that scan is what revealed the problem to us. The team at Southview Animal Hospital are not only knowledgeable, but compassionate. I have gone there to care for my cats for the last few years and find that their honesty, compassion and care for animals makes them top notch. On one of the worst days I had, having to put down my cat, they were patient as I vacillated between should I or shouldn't I and got me in quickly when I realized how bad her condition had deteriorated. I love Southview Animal Hospital! Southview has brilliant Doctors, Technicians, Client Service Rep's and Support staff!! I have never seen a group of people love and care for pets and one another like they do!!
If your looking for a Vet to take your Fur Baby to this is the place. Everyone is so kind and treat you like family. The Vets really care about your pets. We bring all 4 of our dogs here and they get the best treatment, care and lots of LOVE. So Thank you Everyone at Southview for loving and caring for our fur babies.
I really enjoy the convenient location and the prices seem very reasonable for the area and competitors. For me we had an issue where I had purchased a puppy who we did not know needed special care for her entire life. The vet was fine talking to me about the dogs needs, through my tears, and explained what was needed for the dog to be happy and healthy.
