I was called Wednesday to come pick up the ashes of our 10 month old kitten. Today I went. I opened the door and a woman at the desk began pointing her point her finger at me and telling me to get out. I'm in the doorway confused trying to explain why I'm there. She continues yelling at me to get out and that she knows why I'm there. I continue asking her to listen to me. She continues to yell at me that she already knows and to wait outside. Sunday evening and I called at 4:15 PM. clinic closes at 5 PM on Sunday. I was told they do take walk ins but they're very busy in the back not sure if they could even see him and were closing soon. I had a very sick cat and just moved to the area. Will not ever take either of my cats to this vet. They claim caring and compassion but they were too busy to even take a look at him during business hours. She sounded like she just wanted to go home like I was bothering her.

We are so sorry to hear you have a sick cat and had this experience. Your babies are important to us. Please give our hospital a call at your convenience and speak with the hospital manager. If your cat is still under the weather please bring him in tomorrow morning. We open at 700am and our doctors will take care of you and your baby.
They need to quit de-clawing cat’s claws. This is not a simple thing for the cat/kitten. This is cutting their toes off at the end of their paws. Like cutting your fingers and toes off at the first knuckle. Please there are a lot of different ways to deal with a cat clawing things, just read about “The Paw Project” . Most of the time that a cat is declawed there is more behavioral problems due to the cat walking in pain the rest of its life. Please stop this barbaric practice. Completely rude, my puppy ate pesticide and I brought her in for an emergency and asked if they could bill me so I didn’t have to pay all right then and there and they got mad at me , I paid it but I really see that they are in this for the money rather than helping animals in need
Horrible care. No sympathy and you can NEVER get ahold of the doctors no matter how severe your situation.
I am so upset with Spanaway vet I called twice & left messages to speak to the office mgr about their treatment of Cooper last wed. She never called back so I called again this morning. All she could say is I appreciate your feedback " I will attach a picture of what they did to Cooper when they not just muzzled him but the vet had the tech tighten it because she was uncomfortable with Cooper. Mind you she suspected a bleeding disorder. This is under his chin when they were done with him. Sorry it is graphic.
This is one of the worst clinics I have been to yet..we had a 16 month old pit sick from parvo...not only was the staff rude to us and rough with our dog...but they made it a point to let us know that although we had 100 of the 150 they expected they would not help her because they closed in 15 min...I have never been so mad and upset as I was the other day...they could care less that the dog was suffering they cared that we didn't have all of the money. they expect....since when is it all about the money and nothing about t... read more
