Really disappointed with this restaurant. Booked it specifically to hear the piano music - was ushered to a room upstairs where the piano could not be heard. No music was played and it was difficult to hear my partner talking due to two drunk couples who were placed in the middle of the room and were swearing and shouting constantly. Well the staff urged us to order food when we just sat down for 5min. When we said we need a few more minutes he looked so annoyed! Literally we arrived precisely on time with our booking, we were not late so why so impolite to us? It made us feel so weird. Then, there were incomplete set of utensils for each guest. when we requested to have one more plate, the staff asked us to use the one that was holding the sauces. Unbelievable…. Told us we couldn’t be seated, as our table had been given to another party, despite our booking clearly being visible on the tablet carried by the waiter. Rude, awful. They had several parties (8 or 9 at least) who had booked waiting around for their tables - but that doesn’t excuse treating people in this way.

We had a good evening because of the fantastic guitarist and atmosphere. The service was also attentive and good. However, the food was not great, bland chicken wings, soggy bruschetta, over cooked fish and greasy chips. If they could level up the food to the atmosphere and service they’d be on to a winner.

We booked the Piano bar based on the amazing reviews for this restaurant. Like many things in life these days, don't trust the online reviews. A piano bar without a pianist, so just a standard bar with little atmosphere The food was good however if you are expecting something grand or with an amazing atmosphere, it was far from this. An everyday high street restaurant talked up to bag some unsuspecting tourists at best. Whatever you do, don't pay to reserve a table. Turn up and see if the pianist has turned up first.

The restaurant appears to be a fancy restaurant, according to the website they have a business casual dress code. The mixed drinks were disappointing, the food was boring and needed salt, surprising for the price of things. The only redeeming things about our experience was the waitstaff and were very friendly and kind. Our waiter gave us dessert recommendations and the desserts were the best thing we had here.

Great cocktails and meal. Loved the 2for1 drink deal but when we went to pay was very disappointed that we had been charged for more drinks then we should as staff had not taken the discount on each time we ordered drinks. Took 2 edits to get the bill correct. Felt a little like we were being taken advantage of because I imagine a lot of people don’t check the bill.
