They did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. They repaired the drain tile and sump pump.

Well, except very messy. I had asbestos tile that they jacked through and that made me a little nervous. Dug trench around entire basement perimeter. Built drain system with submerged pump.
Not well. Their representative was punctual but spent only about two minutes in a small section of our basement and declared the whole basement fine. It turned out to be far from fine. We ended up having to spend thousands to fix water problems we found and reconstruct our basement. It made me wonder if the representative was being paid by the estimate, in which case the company should reconsider their incentive program. Later, when I challenged him on the phone about his quick judgment, particularly in light of what his clo... read more

WE DID HAVE A REPRESENTATIVE GO OUT TO THIS HOME ON JULY 6, 2006. OUR REPRESENTATIVE HAS OVER TWENTY YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH OUR COMPANY AND HAS LOOKED AT THOUSANDS OF WATER PROBLEMS AND PERCEIVED WATER PROBLEMS. HE DID IN FACT FIND A PROBLEM, IDENTIFIED THE SOURCE AND RECOMMENDATIONS WERE SUGGESTED. WE ARE DISTURBED THAT THE MEMBER SUGGESTS TO OTHER MEMBERS NOT TO TRUST THIS COMPANY FOR NOT ATTEMPTING TO SELL SERVICES OUR REPRESENTATIVE BELIEVED TO BE UNWARRANTED AT THE TIME.
Our existing pump failed. We are in the middle of finishing the basement, so seeing water coming up through the cracks isn't good. Standard was able to send somebody out the same day, although they promised the serviceman in one hour, it was more like three hours. On the phone, I was told that the serviceman would assess whether pump needed repaired ($75) or replaced ($350). The serviceman told me upon his arrival, "I only do replacements, not repairs." Feeling a little backed into a corner (what choice do you have at that p... read more
Overall, experience was good. Sales rep arrived on time for original estimate, all work crews arrived on time and cleanup was acceptable for the type of work being performed. Work included installation of drain tile and sump pump in entire basement. Removal of 18 in (approximately) of foundation, laid down drainage pipe and covered with river rock and then concrete.
unknown THEY INSTALLED A DRAIN SYSTEM IN THE CRAWL SPACE AND TIED IT INTO THE DRAIN SYSTEM & SUMP PUMP THAT THEY PUT IN SOME YEARS AGO.

Happy with the quick response, not too happy with the price -- the work took less than 15 minutes. After the technician left, I reconnected the alarm battery and the alarm went off again. The office radioed the tech, who returned in minutes and replaced the alarm -- no extra charge. In 2003 I had this company install drain tile and a sump pump. After 2 winters with no problem, the exterior drain pipe froze and set off the alarm. (This was due to my neglect in failing to disconnect the drain for the winter as originally instr... read more
I NEEDED ONE EGRESS WINDOW INSTALLED. CALLED STANDARD WATER CONTROL SYSTEMS AND SCHEDULED FOR FRI. AT 3:30. I TOOK TIME OFF WORK JUST FOR THIS MEETING. IT WAS A ''NO CALL NO SHOW''. I HAD TO CALL THEM TO EXPLAIN THEIR MISTAKE. THEY STATED THE PERSON THAT MADE THE APPOINTMENT ''SCREWED UP'' AND THE ESTIMATOR SHE SCHEDULED WAS ON VACATION. HE APOLOGIZED. I STATED I'D CALL HIS OFFICE BACK TO POSSIBLY RESCHEDULE AT A LATER DATE. THEN I RECEIVED A CALL FROM AN ESTIMATOR AT MY DOOR THE FOLLOWING MONDAY. I HADN'T EVEN MADE AN APPOI... read more
