Today our visit was not so great. We arrived to dirty seats that needed cleaning. We had received our appetizer before we ever received our drinks ( which we had to request twice). My fries were cold and my sliders were burnt. We had to request silverware. There was two of us we only received one set. Our waiter never came back to us after taking our order except to bring our bill. We really do like this place BUT it's in a serious need of a clean up (literally and staff wise).

Movie experience all in all was good...but...don't know where the fault lies...either with service or kitchen staff...but me and the wife both ordered Catching fire burger Cali style which is with bacon and guacamole...both came out wrong...fast...but wrong...hers was not Cali style and mine was missing bacon...took waaaaay longer to get order "corrected" like 30 minutes...and hers was STILL wrong....no guacamole or bacon still...still left tip bc I was unsure whose fault but definitely was not going to wait for it to be "co... read more

We have been enjoying Star Cinema Grill for several years. We live in Pearland so we're midway between Baybrook and Missouri City locations and have visited both (we are closer to Baybrook's new location than the old one). We have always had good food and service at both locations (sooo much better than Studio Movie Grill in Pearland, food and service). However, parking is so awful at the Baybrook location. Overall experience has been good with the exception of our experience on Friday 09.30.2016 On Friday September 30, 2016 me and my family visited your theatre located at 702 Bay Brook Mall located in Friendswood, Texas. Movie was awesome... waiter was great .... just can't believe they charge for refills on soda at 3.19 a charge ... pitcher of beer was only 5.00 ??? Had 2 soda's and 1 refill 9.50 that's crazy movie was only 7.50 ???

The theater I would give 5 stars but the service is maybe okay. One of the first times I went they gave my food to someone else then I had to reorder half way through the movie and the most recent times I've been we seem to never get our food and drinks out in the right order this has happen twice we got our dinner first then drinks then our appetizer. Saw the movie Sully at the Star Cinema at Baybrook. The movie was outstanding! The food at the cinema, specifically the grilled turkey, was awesome. My one complaint is the volume of the previews before the feature movie. There is NO EXCUSE to have the volume exceed 100 decibels in the theater, particularly for the entire time of the previews. Numerous other guests were sitting with their fingers in their ears. Your staff should be situationally aware if they see numerous patrons with their finders covering their ears.
