If it weren't for the comfortable seats I wouldn't come back. Service every time I've been has been worse than slow! We only ordered bottled water and it took over 15 minutes to get it. Can't imagine what getting food would be like. We keep coming back hoping the service will change but always leave with the same poor service.
Service was horrible! They forgot our appetizer and we had to ask twice for anything we needed. We asked for a drink refill and would give it 10 min and have to ask again. And there is maybe only 6 people here so it's not like it's busy.
They should be ASHAMED of selling you seats in the front row right under the screen...there shouldn't even be a row here!!
Been here 3 times. Every time there has been an issue. Will not be a forth.
Not impressed. The seats were nice, the movie was great... but the food was atrocious. The drinks were too fruity and the beer was warm. Our server was rude and seemed put out. Would have had a MUCH cheaper and more satisfying experience at another cinema.
Seating is good and it's great to be able to reserve seating- however, service staff is simply adequate and for whatever reason, there always seem to be a lack of quality operations: the past few times, there have been issues with either sound or projection or theater lighting- they never seem to get it right from the beginning. Just walked in tonight and no sound with the previews so far... Hope it's fixed by the start of the movie... In any event, it's a comfortable theater and certainly worth going because of the seating.... read more
Had my debit card scanned and fraud committed the next day. Called the manager and they just said what did I want them to do about it. I never use that card except on situations like this when it leaves my sight.
The fire alarm rang tonight right before the start of the premiere of Batman vs Superman. The servers told us to disregard. Placed my order and never got my food. An hour into the movie I flagged the waitress, only to find out that the kitchen was closed due to the fire alarm. Needless to say, I'm hungry and went specifically to Star because of the food. The theater itself was very nice. The seating was comfortable with ample room. The screen and sound was awesome! The service is lacking quite a bit though. We waiting 20 minutes before anyone coming for our initial drink order then another 10 just to get drinks. The food was mediocre, my pulled pork sandwich was dry (like it had been sitting out for a while). We pressed our button when we didn't get dessert and it took 15 minutes for anyone to come.
